Tate vs Nike commercial
Has anyone else seen this? Headline news has been showing it all day.
Its a spoof of the nike commercial where the naked guy is running around in the soccer field. At the end when the guy starts to cheer Tate comes out and tackles him then screams nonsensically. Very Funny!
Apparently Nike is not too happy about it and is thinking about legal action.

I am not a big fan of either of these commericals as it does not motivate me to buy the shoes that they are peddaling. Although, since we are discussing the commericals - they seem to have worked in getting their message across to lots of people.
I also do not like the naked fan running around on the field by Nike because it is a stupid, pointless commerical. It encourages and celebrates disruptive (and possibly dangerous) behavior by fans who interrupt sporting events and it may lead to more incidents of fans running onto the field. </lecture>

Saw it on tv last night (American Idol? or maybe Bacholorette) At first, I thought it was a sequel... and I'm sure it's close enough that Nike has a case. Really funny, though.
I didn't even realize the Tate commercials were for Reebok. I only half watched it during the Super Bowl, and had thought it was an office depot commercial or something. So while catchy, it's not really selling the merchandise, at least to me.

I loved it as well. How do they do all that tackling and not get anyone seriously hurt? I mean, getting tackled butt nekkid can't be good for the exposed family jewels.
