Friends 02-06-03

I'm really looking forward to this episode. It guest stars
Spoiler:
Jon Lovitz. I believe he'll be reprising his role as the stoned guy that tried to hire Monica as a chef way back in Season 1.

He was hysterical then, hopefully he can bring a little of that back. The show needs it.

Hopefully, tonight's "guest star" can breath some life into the show. I haven't laughed once this entire season (so far).

Sorry, Patman, but it's still only half an hour. The second half hour is a rerun from last season about Phoebe's birthday.

I thought it was a pretty good episode, not great, but at least it was interesting

I am sick of them dragging out the Ross and Rachel storyline.

I thought it was funny. Joey had some great lines. The Rachel date was pretty funny to.

Eh. It was just alright as usual. Good thing the laugh track lets me know when something's supposed to be funny. Half the time, I would have no idea.

Phoeby and Joey were pretty good.

I actually laughed tonight the scene where Joey went into Monica and Chandler's apartment cracked me up. The look he got on his face was hilarious. I also liked the reappearance of the Jon Lovitz character.

Monica: "Chandler, don't touch yourself for 48 hours!"
Chandler: "I don't do that...... Okay, I won't."

Has Lovitz had his hairline redone? It looks like he got the hair transplant procedure done (like from the Bosley Hair Institute).

Monica may have been showing her headlights on last week's episode singing for the nightclub, but they were on full display for a brief few seconds on this episode.

At first I wasn't sure Lovitz was playing the same character from Season 1 until he said he lost his restaurant to drugs.

Shouldn't Rachel remembered him? I thought she was the waitress for Monica's little food party. Rachel acted liked she had never seen him before.

I thought the same thing. Phoebe picked him up and brought him to the apartment, Monica cooked (obviously), and Rachel served after Monica's other server cancelled.

"Ooh, macaroni and cheese. We gotta make this!"

Maybe he finally got that hairpiece that Jerry paid for because he thought he had cancer?

That can't be it. He ended up dying. Not from cancer, but a car accident.

It was a long time ago and Rachel always seemed to be an absent-minded waitress (and he was stoned). So it doesn't seem unreasonable that they wouldn't remember each other.

I didn't! I completely forgot about his appearance way back when. I don't know why either, because I think about it every time I make a salad (I always tear the lettuce since then)
