"take that back" I was waiting for Dutch to go in the bathroom and start crying in the stall.

Good episode. I figured one of their badges would turn up and cause problems.

Claudette is starting to become one of my favorite characters on the show. I love how she tricked Manny into the confession as opposed to Dutch who would have tried his psychobabble on the guy once again.

Can't wait for next week and
Spoiler:
the return of Armadillo

Another great episode. It'll be interesting to see what happens towards the end of the season (I'm guessing) regarding the money train.

I'm actually interested in the whole civilian advocate angle. She strikes me as the "big bad" for this season. She is so freaking COLD!

Yep. It was pretty funny how Aseveda's (sp?) reason for adding a minority member to the team was almost (or completely?) word for word what the civilian advocate's reason was.

Makes me wonder if Vic will "take out" the new member ala Terry from the first season.

Another great episode, I'm thinking Armadillo will go after Vic's family.

Me Too. If he does I can't to see what Vic does to him when he gets his hands on him.

It would be great if they could figure out some way for the new "minority" member to be Carl Weathers... he was really good last week.

OK, I'm about 8 episodes into the First Season boxset. Any further info on catching Season 2 from the beginning?

I didn't even think about that.. That would be cool, but I think it'll probably be someone new, otherwise there would've been a press release saying "Carl Weathers has signed up to be an extended guest actor on The Shield" or something to that effect.

He'll think being stove faced was getting off easy.

What was up with the whole squirrel/hamster burial thing? That was kind of odd.

Well, if they can't get Carl Weathers, maybe they'll get Carl Winslow?

Nah, he was kicked off the force for beating someone -- bad rep -- Aceveda would never allow it.

I'm almost thinking Julian, but he's matched too well with his current partner and definitely wouldn't fit with the strike team. It'd be interesting if they brought in an Asian though.

Yeah, but he was kicked off the force because he beat the same guy they arrested last week... one of the guys who shot at Vic. He goes from looking like a brutal cop who beat up an innocent to looking like an abused hero who knew this guy was bad all along.

Not saying it's likely, but it's certainly do-able. I'd love to see it if they did.

The guy burying all the dead animals was just weird. I totally thought they were going to push the romance angle, until pet-semetary guy showed his true colors. Creepy.

I think it will be that guy from the 1st season that told Vic and Shane to let him in when they had an opening. It was the missing SUV ep.

Might be. That guy was in the running for Acevada when they were originally casting as well.
