Conan announced Alan Cummings and mentioned that he was in Nicholas Nicklbey (sp?) and X-men 2 in the intro. (I was just, “ talk about X-men 2, fingers crossed, fingers crossed.) So, They end up talking about Nightcrawler for almost the entire interview and I was itchin’ to hear him do the German accent.

This guy had a Scotch accent almost as thick as Begby’s from Trainspotting, but suddenly he imitates fans (comic geeks) from the states with uncanny ( ) accuracy . I’m thinkin’ do the ****in’ Deutsch accent already!

If I was in the live audience, I’m not sure if I would have had the courage to shout something like “Meine katzchen!” or some such. I’m afraid of security guards.

I saw it.

Two things...

1 • When he "Bamf!"s, I hope it looks better than the face he made...

2 • That story about the black "stub" was funny. Gives new meaning to "back that ass up"...

I'm pretty sure Alan Cumming can nail the accent.....I had no idea he wasn't American till I saw him out promoting the Anniversary Party a few years ago.

Plus his Russian wasn't so bad in Goldeneye.

The Nightcrawler *BAMF* face did kinda worry me though.

Anyone have a URL for that "underwear" shot he was talking about (a production still that was leaked out before they could CGI his "bottom half" on)?

I've searched around this morning, but I can't seem to find it anywhere...

The face alone doesn’t worry me, mostly it’s that “I’ve got the whole world in my hands” gesture that makes me go “Mmm.”
