Good stuff. I was afraid it would be rigged, but Jamie's who I figured would lose a real vote, so it seems legit. Either way, I'm glad she's gone.

Is it possible that Nidia sucks more today than when she won?

I dunno, I haven't really been keeping up with the WWE (but love Tough Enough). All I know is that she's definitely a lot more manly now.

She always sounded stupid with that stud in her tongue, but she sounds worse now. She also looks like a trashbag ho ... a manly one.

Kickass. While I liked Maven, these are the first two winners that I'm actually interested in tuning in to see wrestle.

Definitely. I was hoping it would be those 2. They both deserve it.

I had those two picked a few weeks ago... nice to see them make it. I might have to start to watch wrestling again...

For beencrazier's sake:

Caught this right before they announced the first winner.

It's amazing what a lil makeup did for Jamie.

I was half right as far as the winners.

Why do I get the feeling John's mic skills are going to rival RVD's?

Is Matt another Molly?

BTW...were Jackie & Linda there?

Wasn't last season's finale more intersting? I thought I remembered them recording promos and actually showing new footage instead all those lame clips that they already showed to much. I was at least glad about the cut- I hope my vote helped. And I'm happy with the winners.

I don't think so. If they were, they never showed them or even mentioned them. You can be sure the WWE higher-ups are kicking themselves for having selected those two lemons. Remember Jackie Gayda's last match on RAW? Teamed up with Chris Harvard against Bradsaw and the overrated Trish, that match will go down in history. It will be talked about 20 years from now, and that's not a good thing.

Did Nidia always sound like that? I don't remember her being that unintelligible.

Honk!

I was going to thank you for answering, but then you said "the overrated Trish"...

Them's fightin' words...

I am very excited with the two winners. I picked these two to win it all weeks ago and I think they will be a great addition to the WWE. Still love that standing Shooting Star Press.

Also, even though Jamie was voted off by the fans I think she should still stick with it. She is a much better wrestler than Nidia, Linda and Jackie.

Besides the fact she has a tongue piercing, I think the main reason she sounded funny was because she was chewing her gum like a damn cow. Now the question is, was she in character or was she being herself?! Either way she is still trashy. I still can't believe they chose her over Taylor back in season one.

I was thinking more along the lines of HBK Shawn Michaels.

I agree. That was a bad choice, not as bad as last years but still bad. I think they finnaly got it right this year.

Woohoo! My 2 picks from the opening weeks of the season won. I should be a WWE scout I still hope to see Jonah in WWE someday. Don't care for Eric or Jamie at all.

Glad to see John and Matt win. Interesting about Matt's speech praising his faith, when that was never brought up in discussions around Rebekah. Unless he's recently born-again. Either way, more power to him.

John, on the other hand, was so goofy; completely unlike how calm he seemed during the show. I worry his personality isn't broad enough for WWE, but my god he has a ton of talent. He wrestles like gravity has only 3/4 power on him. Let him get some rub off Edge and watch him soar.

I didn't like the idea of the in-show cut, but I thought they handled it pretty well. Were those Jamie's folks in that back room? Were they sitting at a table beforehand? How did they get to the back room so fast?

I hope Nidia was in character; yuck. But I see why she won over Taylor; Taylor lost for the same reason Eric lost-- just not enough magnetism.

Is Jake from TE2 still wrestling? It's funny how during the show he looked so good but in retrospect, whew. I'm in the minority, but I was OK with Jackie and Linda winning. They just were pushed way way too fast. Look at who the most successful TE contestant has been-- Chris (in my mind). And he had to do it the 'hard' way. Could bode well for Jonah.

Matt discussed his faith after Shawn Michaels' visit; talked about how glad he was to see a top superstar so open about his faith.
