That 70's Show 1/22

I hardly ever get to see first runs of this show since it usually on against something else I watch. However they advertise the hell out of Jessica Simpson guesting on this one (which will get me watching anytime) and she wasn't even on it. Did I miss something?

they were doing promos for "upcoming SHOWS" not just tonight's episode. Just new shows coming in the next few weeks on the new night.

I thought it was really weird that they would show promos for upcoming shows except for the one that was coming on tonight.

Weird.

Still a funny show.

I loved the end when Red and Kitty both said, "We're buying a new table" in unison.

Funny as ever, but I agree with the above posts, I was wondering if I had missed something also. Glad to know I didn't miss the Jessica Simpson episode.

I find myself wanting this show in season sets more and more with each passing week.

That 70's Show 1/29 "Your Time Is Gonna Come"

** Spoiler = Someone dies, so if you don't want to know... don't read! **
Spoiler:
Annette (Jessica Simpson) shows up from California, and Jackie has to deal with her feelings about Kelso's new girlfriend. Kitty's dad (Tom Poston, damn I loved that character) passes away, and Kitty faces her own grief and issues with her mother (Betty White).

Oh and 1 other comment: enough of the Osbournes on television. Can you say overexposure!

Jack's appearance was pretty non-descript. His goofy look worked perfectly for the 70's.

Other shows may get a little more press and respect from the media, but there isn't another network comedy that makes me laugh out loud as much as this one.

I was pissed. FOX is really ticking me off with this show. I watched the "all new" hour of this show two weeks ago only to realize it was a re-run. I also taped this episode expecting it to be new, and it wasn't. Isn't there ANY regulation to keep them from f-ing around with people in this regard? STOP THE MADNESS!

Oops - sorry. I thought I'd seen something similar to it before. Need to stay off the green paprika a little.

Still FOX's promos made it seem like all that stuff was going to be in that episode (Jessica Simpson, Fez "becoming a man", etc.)...

Is it me or have these characters been in High School for over four years? And shouldn't they be in the 80's by now? I remember about three seasons ago they were making a big deal about Star Wars which was in 1977. So they should be in at least 1980 by now.

It appears that they aren't going with a one season= one year philosophy. The timeline appears to be moving at a two seasons per year pace.

But I understand your confusion, I posted a similar thought in a prior thread.

And the Korean war went on for 11 years on MASH. Time goes slower in TV land, we all know that!
