Critics Choice Awards on E!
They aired tonight, did anyone see them?
Jack Nicholson won for best actor (About Schmidt) and was tied with Daniel Day-Lewis. The third nominee, the only one not to win, was Robin Williams for One-Hour Photo.
When Nicholson had his turn to speak, he called Robin Williams up and the two spent a good ten minutes screwing around, telling jokes, and basically making the awards look bad. It was obvious that Nicholson thought it was bad form to have three nominees, and award two, but not the third, especially one who gets snubbed as often as he does. Williams joked about it, but said he wasn't expecting anything.
They said something along the line that they had expected to get to spend ten minutes spanking Jillian Hall. (SP?)
Who is that? I'd not heard of her. Maybe I'm just out of the loop! haha

I have no idea who Gillian Hall is, but that six mintues or so worth of television had me on the floor rolling.
Between Robin's cracks, Jack's hilarious faces, and Daniel Day-Lewis serious stance had me on the floor the entire time. Thank God I recorded this. It will be in the family for many years to come.
But I don't think Robin Williams gets snubbed at all. He has won numerous awards. Just because he doesn't win an award, doesn't mean he was snubbed.
I am rewatching and Jack said until Robin got there all he thought about was spankin' Gillian Hall and then Robin comes and does the old in and out motions with his hands and his body as sign language to Jack's comments all while Jack is somewhat acting like he is taking it from behind while at the podium, but you only see him coming up from the position.
Robin compliments Salma about her dress and "bust size" in Spanish and everyone started to roll. Jack and Robin laugh and make curve motions of a womans boobs on themselves and say "Pretty nice" and "Oooh".
Robin joked to Lewis about he (ROBIN) wanted to THANK the IRISH (he said that Daniel Day scares the sh*t out of him)...and joked to Salma Hayek with Spanish jokes etc.
Towards the end, Jack goes over to Salma and Daniel Day-Lewis and tells Salma to give Robin the piece of paper with Jack's and Daniel's names on it as Robin's "award".
And then at the end Daniel Day-Lewis thanks Martin Scorsese who he forgot to thank before the fiasco with all of them with Robin happened.
It was a hilarious moment.
