Which of the six Saved By The Bell actors has the best career now?

Let's see, since the show ended...

Mark-Paul Gosselaar - Zack Morris
Starred in Dead Man on Campus, the failed WB show "Hyperion Bay", and is now a regular cast member on "NYPD Blue"

Mario Lopez - A.C. Slater
Starred in the TV movies "Killing Mr. Griffin" and "The Greg Louganis Story". Now, he's dating Ali Landry and is one of the hosts of "The Other Half", the talk show for women.

Dustin Diamond - "Screech" Powers
Appeared on the New Classes of Saved By The Bell until 2000, playing the same character, now he does Celebrity Boxing, cheesy E! specials, and standup comedy.

Tiffani-Amber Thiessen - Kelly Kapowski
Starred on "Beverly Hills 90210" for four years, did some direct-to-video films, and now has a starring role on "Fastlane."

Elizabeth Berkley - Jessie Spano
Starred in one of the worst films of the 90s (Showgirls), but has since appeared in small roles in The First Wives Club and Any Given Sunday.

Lark Voorhies - Lisa Turtle
Two years on a soap opera ("The Bold and the Beautiful"), 2 years on an LL Cool J sitcom ("In the House"), and a role in How High.

And even though he's not one of the gang and isn't in the poll:

Dennis Haskins - Mr. Belding
Played the Mr. Belding role until the New Class ended in 2000. Since then, he's had a guest role on "The West Wing" and a small part in Max Keeble's Big Move.

So, clearly none of them are big names in the industry, but who do you think is in the best current position?

I would say Mark Paul Gosselaar. He's probably the best actor of the bunch. Plus, he is on a legitimate show in NYPD Blue, where Tiffani Theissen is on a popcorn-type, all action and no brains show.

Mark-Paul, he's on a reputable show now, like you said.

Mark Paul Gosselaar... he's actually good enough on NYPD Blue that i don't really associate him with Saved by the Bell anymore.

IN ORDER, from best career to worst

Mark-Paul Gosselaar -- The clear winner. NYPD Blue is a top notch career move.

Mario López -- The Other Half is a great career move for him. By getting in tight with co-host Dick Clark, he'll have many opportunities down the road if he stays on Dick's good side.

Tiffani-Amber Thiessen -- the 90210 stint was good, but she's floundered ever since. Fastlane is not a role that puts her in the mass public's eye.

Dustin Diamond -- Poor guy, he'll be called Screech for the rest of his life. Thanks to Hollywood Squares and shows of that sort, he'll always have a livable income.

Elizabeth Berkley -- Has made some bad decisions, but the public is still are more aware of her than:

Lark Voorhies -- Welcome to obscurity!

MPG got my vote!

I just keep waiting for Dennis Franz to refer to him as "preppie".

I picked Mario Lopez, and I suppose I'm the only one so far.

the way I see it is this, Mario Lopez is on a daily talk show. Now that is some seriously nice income. Not to mention being in good with dick clark, who's power in the industry will get Mario far.

Mark Paul is on NYPD blue, but frankly the show in my mind is one foot in the grave. I really don't see it having much more of a life span really.

Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, She's been on many things, but more importantly, we know it's quality vs Quantity. Her works seem to be pretty much one step above staring in porn. Not great for a successful future.

I picked Mark-Paul Gosselaar because of his role on NYPD Blue. It looks like the stepping stone he needs to get his career on track. As for Mario Lopez, I am surprised he got the show he is doing now since I remember hearing a few years ago that he allegedly raped a girl. And I guess everybody forgot about Elizabeth Berkley's few appearances on NYPD Blue a couple seasons ago.

Stacey from the summer episodes has also had a noteworthy career.

But probably still MPG.

This isn't a movie crowd.

Either they stick to (any) tv or they will not get any more paychecks.

Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, but then again I might be fooled because she is so hot!

Several of the guest-apperances/recurring characters have more successful careers. For instance, Carla Gugino (Spy Kids mom who was on the first episode of Good Morning Miss Bliss), Christine Taylor, Bridgette Wilson, or even Scott Wolf.

I would have to go w/ 'Zack Morris' since he landed the NYPD Blue gig. To me, that is a little more respectable than Fastlane.

I voted for MPG but was tempted to vote for Elizabeth Berkley because I liked her in Roger Dodger.

I'm sorry, I vote for the one who's appeared naked the most: Berkley gets my vote!

No contest: MPG.

He's the only one who's successfully converted himself into a legitimate actor. After a few pretty poor years of Blue, his arrival coincided with a resurgence in quality of the show, and I'm sure he'll receive some credit for it and rightfully so ... he's damn good.

I say MPG as well. He makes me completely forget 'Zack' when I see him in NYPD.

Next I'd have to say Elizabeth Berkley, who after the notorious Showgirls, has had some half-way descent bit parts in some off-beat films like The Real Blonde, and Woody Allen's Curse of the Jade Scorpion. If she continues this path I see her coming across something good eventually that'll gain her some (good) notoriety.

Tiffani-Amber Thiessen seems to be stuck in the Pam Anderson spiral of bad tv. She'll get her own "action hour" in syndication next.

Mario Lopez/Screech (tie) - they'll be stuck in the gameshow/talkshow curcuit forever.

Lark Voorhies- I think I heard she's found religion and given up show biz for now.

For Mr. Belding I see a future of guest spots as "the dad" or "telephone repair man" on prime time tv shows like ER or CSI.

Tori Spelling had a recurring role also.

gonna have to go with Gosselaar as I've never heard of the show Lopen is on, and Thiessen hasn't done that much good stuff lately, although I can't comment on the quality of Fastlane except to say the commercials don't interest me
I did see a commercial recently for something with Berkley in it that looked legit and relatively high quality. either a movie or tv movie on one of the big 3 networks

Dustin Diamond for his hilarious cameo in "Made."

Seriously, MGP is the only one who has proved himself as an actor in a quality show. The others are just cashing paychecks.

I would say Lopez only because he is dating Ali Landry
Otherwise Mark for his entertaining role on NYPD
