Dumb and Dumber seems to be the movie I've seen on the TV schedule more times than anything else over the past few years. (I believe on TBS or was it TNT). Although Raiders of Lost Ark seems to be catching up.

I would have said Bloodsport not too long ago, but I haven't seen it in quite some time. TBS and TNT both played it a ton, but I haven't seen it on either in a few months. I kind of miss it...

I'll add Trading Places.

I am surprised that no one mentioned Top Gun yet.

I would also add Shawshank, LA Confidential, and any of those "First Daughter/First Shot" movies with Mariel Hemingway.

A little off topic, but am I the only one who refuses to watch "TV" versions of great movies? How can anyone watch classics like "Blazzing Saddles" or "Animal House" on TV???? Once upon a time this was the only way to see movies after their theatrical run, but today.....come on!

Well naturally, Shawshank as everyone has already indicated, but add The Outlaw Josie Wales to the list.
Jeramiah Johnson's not too far behind either.

I'm with you. I almost never watch a movie on broadcast or cable TV.

Anything with Steven Seagal....it seems every weekend you can always find a Steven Seagal movie (or two) on tv.

I'm generally with you on movies that are really good and deserve to be seen in its entirety, but for movies that I could careless or my family want to see, I'll watch it on TV.

Me 3, unless it's OAR as sometimes shown on AMC or the like.

So am I the only one that when a movie comes on broadcast tv, IF it's one of my favorites, I'll throw the dvd on instead?
