C.S.I. Miami 01/06

New episode tonight!

I didn't realize how much I've missed David Caruso's overacting.

... pretty weird episode.

But I don't miss Kim Delaney... and I really thought I would.

I liked Emily Proctor's shirt.

They even gave us a couple of downshirt shots.

Ending was predictable though.

Good episode.

The story with Emily Procters character was pretty boring and not hard to figure out.

I liked the Caruso story. They should have given him a better line to end it on after the guy said he's not a monster. For how smug and cocky Horatio comes off as, it wasn't that good.

You'll pardon me as I've become a HDTV aficianado, and finally was able to tune in CBS (after fiddling with my antenna for a while) and watch CSI: Miami tonight in HD. Even with the orangish palette to the outdoor shots, HD does serve this show very well, and Emily Proctor looks rather nice in HD.

The 2 cases were actually pretty good, on the same level as the CSI: Las Vegas cases. I think D.B. Woodside is getting spread way too thin, he seems to be everywhere guest-starring on many different shows (his semi-steady role is on Buffy as the new Principal).

I agree i recently got a HD terminal and from what I've seen so far it really does make a difference compared to digital cable...

CSI MIAMI looked amazing!..I also like the HD CBS promos .Catherine Bell from Jag looks even yummier in HD!!

Sitcoms like Yes Dear and Everybody Loves Raymond look good..

I did notice that sometimes in HD the picture goes black for a few seconds every now and then and you see the picture freeze up..Is this normal??

You're suffering from dropouts, most likely from the signal strength not being strong enough at your location. It may entail more fiddling with the antenna to lock in on a stronger signal. There were a few blips here and there when I watched CSI last night, but no showstopper dropouts.

I get dropouts every now and then as well. Emily Procter looked great in HD last night.

as long as she doesn't say anything about beer and leeches we'll be fine.
