Actually, when the episode originally aired, I didn't laugh at all since I didn't get it. But after seeing the episode a few nights ago, I nearly pissed myself from laughing so hard, since, now I "got it"

Wow, there have been so many. How about the "Music Man" spoof in "Marge vs. the Monorail."

For TV shows. "The Prisoner" one has always been one of my favorites.

Not a movie parody, but attractions in Duff Gardens were hilarious take-offs on Disneyland. I especially liked the Hall of Presidents and the "It's a Small World" ride.

The entire "Sherry Bobbins" episode is probably my favorite parody, especially Moe and Barney's duet.

And the ending

I loved the Lord of the Flies spoof with the kids trapped on the island. Then at the end the voiceover quickly summed it all up by saying,"Then they were rescued by.....oh, let's say...Moe."

Although not a whole storylined parody, I fall on the floor laughing every time I see the Halloween episode with Bart dressed as Alex from A Clockwork Orange.

I liked the "Cheers" parody, where Moe's tavern became a Cheers. Well, maybe it's because I love Cheers....

The "Indiana Jones" one, when in the very beginning of the episode Bart tries to go into Homer's room for a jar full of something, I think candy, and Homer sees him and chases him in his underwear, and when Bart gets on the bus, Homer is jumping up and down...classic

from The Fugitive, where Homer is shackled in the back of a police transport truck, which flips over in a Krusty Burger drive-through and gets hit by Jasper's Model T Ford.

Several come to mind:

Can't remember the name of the ep, but the one where Homer goes to pick up Maggie at the daycare center, and all the babies there are sitting around ala Hitchcock's "The Birds," as Homer has to carefully pick his way thru them and back out to the car.

Also the ep where Homer walks thru Flanders' hedge like the T-1000 in "Terminator 2," and later uses golf clubs to latch onto the trunk of Flaners' fleeing car.

And of course, "Stop This Planet of the Apes, I want to get off." Every time I hear, " I hate every chimp I see, from chimpan-A, to chimpan-Z..." i bust out laughing.

Having not seen RD I didn't get the Itchy and Scratchy thing, but love the Sherri Bobbins ep.

I like the 007 spoof in "You Only Move Twice".

"You Only Move Twice" has got to be one of my favorite episodes, especially when Homer jumps on "Bond" so that he can be killed.

Since most of the references people are bringing up are from earlier seasons, I thought the Sopranos parody was pretty funny.

That is a classic. Bart is stealing his coin jar. Best part is Homer rolling down the stairs.

They also spoof The Fugitive when a Tommy Lee Jones lookalike is pursuing Millhouse for some reason and Millhouse jumps off the top of a dam.

I also like "An amendment to be" as a parody of "I'm just a Bill"

[Little Boy] Hey, who left all this garbage on the steps of Congress?
[Amendment] I'm not garbage
I'm an amendment to be
Yes, an amendment to be
And I'm hoping that they'll ratify me
There's a lot of flag-burners who have got too much freedom
I want to make it legal for policemen to beat 'em
'Cause there's limits to our liberties
At least, I hope and pray that there are
'Cause those liberal freaks go too far
[Little Boy] But why can't we just make a law against flag burning?
[Amendment] Because that law would be unconstitutional
But if we change the constitution -
[Little Boy] - Then we could make all sorts of crazy laws!
[Amendment] Now you're catching on!
[Little Boy] But what if they say you're not good enough to be in the constitution?
[Amendment] Then I'll crush all opposition to me!
And I'll make Ted Kennedy pay
If he fights back, I'll say that he's gay
[Congressman] Good news, amendment! They ratified you!
You're in the US Constitution!
[Amendment] Oh, yeah! Door's open, boys!
