I saw "Reverend" MC Hammer preaching on that cheesy TBN network, you know the one with Benny "The Amazing Comb-over Man"Hinn and that crazy looking pink haired lady and her husband.

I knew he was a born-again christian, but TBN??

I thought the grocery store was pretty funny with everyone watching them pick "which foods are going to get the cut".

And Corey Fieldman is an idiot, trying to argue the morals of vegetarians while wearing the leather shoes!

What about Webster? Maybe if this is a hit, Joe Elliott will sign on for SL II.

Better celebrities on here than Celebrity Mole. Brande Roderick is hot and she's looking for a man.

I didn't catch it but you guys give the impression it was a "good" show (good used loosely)

i didn't hate it. agreed that feldman is an idiot and hammer was too preachy. from the preview of the season, it looks like feldman is in for some "tough" times in his still million dollar life. to think he was my favorite goonie and vampire slayer (lost boys for those locked in closets), now i am seriously hoping that brandy, jerri, and emmanuel(sp?) kick his ass sometime this season.

yeah I liked it.
It's not the "greatest show of all time" or anything.

But if you like Real World, you would probably like this. It's like that show, but you already know the quirkiness of the characters.

It's replaying Sunday night if you are interested in catching it.

Another "twist" that was funny is each morning they give a "paper" to the houseguests at the front door that is a fake-type tabloid of what is going on in the house. And they used for example Brandi's diary entry compaining about Jerri against her saying on the headlinen "Jerri is no Robin Givens" (I guess she thought Robin Givens was going to do the show).

Man, Webster needs to drop that laugh.
It was funny to see MC Hammer sleeping on the top bunk above Webster!

I thought it was damn entertaining. My only complaint is the Jerry factor, her not really being a "celeb" and all, but she's good enough to be a wild card. Feldman is as big a putz as we all know he is and it will be great to watch him prove the fact on a weekly basis. But, the greatest thing is watching Vince's reactions to it all. He's totally not the guy any of them thought he would be and definately the most real. I think it works and will enjoy this before they ruin the franchise with the following seasons.

I caught most of this and it was surprisingly good. It was funny hearing the celebs bitch about Jerri because she's not a "real star." Unlike Survivor, I'm rooting for her in this one, especially when she takes on Feldman.

The suddenly serious moment from Vince Neil was pretty surprising (and touching). Of everybody in the house, he's probably the only one I wouldn't mind rooming with in real life.

Well, I turned the show on right when they got the fortune cookies. I knew Vince was gonna talk about his daughter's death. If anyone ever followed Motley Crue and Vince going solo, he wrote a song about it... and knew he wasn't just the sex, drugs and rock n' roll type of guy everyone thought he was.

Overall, the preview of the entire season has me thinking about watching this on a continous basis.

I just tuned in for the last 10 minutes, why would hammer, feldman and lewis, not eat the sushi of the naked chick?

And has carteris spent a bit too much time in the tanning salon?

I dont recall him saying his religious views got in the way of his eating sushi. He said he just doesnt eat it or his views of women. Same with Emmanuel. And Corey wouldve probably sat with them while they ate, but he's whipped.

I will tune in and say that my wife and I also thought it wasn't a bad show. It certainly wasn't as trashy as I thought it would be (which is not necessarily a bad thing). I love trash TV so this was mild in comparison to say...Temptation Island.

I loved how 90210 chick called out Corey on his silly veggie views (it is terrible to eat an animal b/c they have souls yet he finds wearing leather shoes acceptable). I got sick of Playmate chick whining for Robin Givens and bitching that Jerri wasn't a past "performer." Who the hell is she? Never saw her before and I am certain 9/10ths of the audience knows who Jerri is before they know who Playboy chick is.

I also found it funny that all the women in the house were sitting there eating sushi off a naked woman while 3 out of the 4 guys are refusing to. I figure that Hammer has to put on a front for his church congregation, Webster is going to follow whatever Hammer says, and Corey is just a freak with no rhyme or rhythm to his thinking.

Vince is by far the coolest in the house...I just wish he would chill on the pork rinds.

Anybody wish they had maybe put a non-celebrity in the house to kind of take it all in? Maybe someone who knows of these people but is not a stalker. I would love to ask Hammer to do the Adam's Groove, ask Corey what the deal was with his relationship to the other Corey (just buddies or something more, uh, substantial), and ask 90210 chick if she ever screwed Jason Priestly.

We will definitely keep watching this as the previews for the upcoming season look interesting.

On the Jerri factor not being a "real celeb" :
That makes it even better. Because all of them bitching about it makes it entertaining.
And if you took those 7 and showed their picture to everyone in America I guarantee that just as many would recognize her as the rest, probably more.
Brandi Roderick, yeah she's hot, but most people wouldn't know her by name if you showed her picture.
Andrea from 90210, most people wouldn't recognize.
Hammer might be hard to identify as well.

The show works though, and it's just like the Real World but with people we already know their story! Kinda funny.

Feldman:

Like someone said he is just whipped. there were things that he would have eaten on the girl. But his relationship with his girl is so strange (I remember a lot from when they were on Howard Stern together a while back).
They go out and she'll pick another girl to take home for the two of them. And from what I gathered GUYS TOO!
But.... they made a pact they can't do anything sexual if the other one isn't present.
And Fieldman viewed this eating as Sexual, so he couldn't do that to his girl!
It was Dinner you IDIOT!

Hammer: it was his religious views and about treating women.
He didn't think she "should have to do that for $50 or whatever they are paying her". And he tried giving his guilt trip to the others who weren't having it.

Vince was in high heaven though huH!

This show just cracked me up!

Emmanuel Lewis has THE funniest laugh I've ever heard in my life! Every time he laughed I would just bust up! He actually seems like a pretty normal little guy.

Actually, they are all more normal that I expected (with the exception of Feldman who is just a boner).

I missed this one, will it be replayed anytime?

Also, did Vince get drunk and beat any women up yet?

Corey Feldman kicks ass. He is my favorite.

Granted he is a complete wack job, but that's what makes it interesting. I'll be cheering for him in every argument, no matter how stupid what he says is. Him and the motley crue guy are what makes the show cool. Jerry is scum, but she'll bring interesting moments as well. The other four are just filler, but may be drawn into the crazyness.

While Corey rules and all and is the only one with talent...proof that Michael Jackson screwed with his mind..."duh, let's get married on tv.."

He is a mental case, but would be the most fun to party with.
