I hope this graps enough viewers to make this show a regular in the Top 20.

According to TV Guide, this is listed as the number four best show on TV now. Unfortunately, I really doubt that it will maintain many of the viewers that will follow it after the SB, since it really requires continued viewing, and hence, it might not grab enough new viewers mid storyline. Great show though.

As far as post-game shows go, I think i've only watched the X-Files.
I don't necessarily think this is a good idea. I would tend to agree with movieking about the continued storyline thing. Unless they would try to make this more of a "double-oh-yeah...with a kick" ep by showing a montage of all the sexy outfits Syd's been in since last season.
...that way you keep Joe Slope-forehead's post-SB interest.

speaking of alias and abc...
yesterday i'm watching one life to live (laugh away)... there was a conversation going on between this guy and his sister.. i don't remember exactly what they were saying, but she then said to him 'oh my god, you watch alias too?'...
just thought it was a pretty corny plug...

As much as I usually criticize ABC, they seem to be doing everything humanly possible to plug this show:
* They've kept it in a reasonable (and consistent) timeslot
* They've re-run marathons on ABC Family to help promote and let people "catch up"
* They've run a ton of ads
* They've released a prequel book and a "making-of" book to stores before Season 2 started
* They've set up an eBay store to sell merchandise based on the show
And after all of that, the show STILL doesn't seem to be hitting high ratings. People seem to be watching the first hour of the crappy CBS movie, then switching over to The Practice. I have no clue what else ABC could do here, other than "dumbing down" the show so that it doesn't have such an ongoing plot (a counter-productive move, in my opinion).
Maybe this Super Bowl thing will help, but I suspect that Alias is going to be one of those shows that lasts for 3-4 seasons with fair ratings and then leaves... only to find a large cult audience for years afterward.

At least this year they've been showing close-ups of Lena Olin and fewer close-ups of Sloan, which can be quite frightening on a big screen TV.

Yay ABC (whom I work for). I hear it's a good show, never seen it though. It would be nice if we could get more shows in the top 10. Seems like every week, ABC never has a show in the top 10 except monday night football (except the last episode of the bachelor).
If they really wanted ratings, they'd put Liz Cho on right after the superbowl
I don't envy whomever has to switch the superbowl itself.
