It's been pretty heavily hyped the last few weeks; so I thought I'd give it a shot. I was pretty disappointed though. I thought Keaton was good, but Bonham-Carter was not upto par. The plot just showed us why CNN was the only network inside Iraq still broadcasting (and all because of that small little thing?). I don't know why they made a movie about it though.

Yeah - I watched it.
Thought it was good. Did this story deserve to be made into a feature film? Probably not, but then again half of all movies made today don't either.
Anyway, I thought Keaton did a great job. Why he never "hit it big" is beyond me. You're right about Bonham-Carter - nothing extraordinary out of her. I did like Bruce McGill's performance as the British reporter though...and that hair.
It was also nice to see Michael Murphy as part of the cast - hadn't seen him in anything for a while.
As far as HBO films go, this was a good one, but not great.
