You are wrong. You can choose to believe me on this one or not. It's really not that important either way. All I can tell you is this: of the 6 things I listed, I personally witnessed firsthand and have proof (hard evidence, not speculation) of 4 of them, and I have seen the proof (scanned documents on official letterhead) of the other 2. There are two reasons the "news" (term used loosely) media hasn't covered these issues: 1) they don't care ... it's just a stupid TV show; 2) to avoid bad blood (since we didn't exactly have the upperhand), the fans made a soft agreement with SFC to not publicize the proof of these threats (which were posted quite prominently for a few days) - in exchange, SFC would stop issuing them.
As the campaign's goal was never to shut down SFC and was completely devoted to saving Farscape, dragging the channel through the mud and exposing all the crap they pulled wasn't going to do anyone any good, so we just dropped it in some futile attempt to show good will in the face of a remarkable lack of professionalism. It's clear that effort wasn't very successful, but what the hell ... we were trying to take the high road ... I guess it was the right thing to do. The funny thing is, what I posted isn't even the worst of it. But I shouldn't get into all that or I'll get myself in trouble.
If you choose to believe that people would get this angry over something so trivial had SFC not acted so horribly, then you're perfectly entitled to do that. Your skepticism, however, doesn't change what happened and who was there when it happened. In the end, all I can ever do is relay the events to others; whether they choose to accept it or not is outside of my control. Thankfully, I'm not alone, and those of us who have been through this ordeal are going to have some interesting stories to share when it's all said and done.

After three episodes, I'm not overwhelmed, but I am enjoying it. Several nice touches, and the acting is quite good. Hopefully our patience will be rewarded.... <HR SIZE=1>
This was the merged thread of discussions about Sci-Fi acquiring Taken and leading up to its broadcast. You can find discussion of the actual content in the other thread. Originally, I thought they were going to do a thread for each episode, but it appears that they're just talking about all of it in the one thread. Aside from a request that the thread title be changed to something less hostile (which a mod took care of) and a subsequent personal attack from another member, the thread is entirely about the content of the show.I think it's OK to have one thread about the anger of SFC diverting funds from quality shows to advertise Taken and one thread to actually discuss Taken. I hope you find the discussion you're seeking in that thread.

Crawford's sons death was very surprising. This reminds me of Band of Brothers, anyone can and will die at any time.
Question: One of the Towns People said one of the Alien treid to show off his powers at 16 years old. How can that be when the Father of the girl who gave birth to the twins said she got pregnant in 1958 (or 1959), which was 12 years before. Did anyone catch that statement also and record the show so they can listen to it again. I guess I can record the same show tonight before the new show starts.

Most people dont know everything Sci Fi has done and how they have alienated people. If they want to live in their little bubble thats fine but you cant ignore the truth.
I had another friend ask me last night if I was watching it and I explained to him why I wasnt. He didnt know how Sci Fi was handling the show and was quite surprised and dissapointed.
