Jadzia - are you as excited as I am at DS9 coming out on DVD???? I will also watch TNG and DS9 when I can. Classic Trek is on SciFi and I often catch that and when I 'm not catching that, I may catch Profiler.

You bet! Can't wait! We don't even get any DS9 in my market anymore so I haven't seen any episodes since the show ended.

I have been buying the TNG sets. I'm trying to convert my husband to Trek. I started showing him the first season, but he wasn't quite hooked after a few episodes (surprise!) so I started with the third season which he seems to like so far.

You go girl!!!! Make him a convert. Just don't show him voyager. If all he's been seeing is Enterprise, then I really can't blame him for not jumping on board. Funny, when I saw that was coming out, I thouhgt of you!

Currently on my Tivo:

Buffy (still my number 1 show)
Angel
Alias
Friends
Scrubs
Will and Grace
Firefly (liking it a lot so far)
CSI
CSI: Miami (getting better)
24 (so much better than last season)
Smallville (god, Lana is hot)
Gilmore Girls (and Beginnings)
South Park
That 70's Show reruns
Birds of Prey (staying with it till the bitter end )

When they return:
The Shield
Six Feet Under
Monk
The Dead Zone

Checked out but didn't continue with:
Curb Your Enthusiasm (love improv, Spinal Tap/Guffman/Best in Show, and liked Seinfeld, but I haven't laughed once at this show.)
Enterprise (gave up after the first 3 episodes)
Haven't liked any "reality" show since the first Survivor.

Must watch:
24
Alias
Angel
Buffy
Enterprise
ER
Firefly
Gilmore Girls
John Doe
Monk
NYPD Blue
Trading Spaces
West Wing

On the way out, but I keep watching for some damn reason:
Crossing Jordan
The Practice

Sometimes sit-coms: Simpsons, Friends, the Monday night CBS lineup

All in all, it's about a 30-40% drop in what I was watching this time last year.

He actually already likes DS9. That was in the last season when we started dating so he watched that with me. I had to fill him in somewhat on the backstory. I can't wait for him to see the whole series from the beginning!

I've told him how great TNG is so I can't wait until we get into the stride of the show. THEN I'll go back and show him seasons 1-2.

He doesn't even watch Enterprise with me. I tape it upstairs and I watch it after he's asleep. I usually tape it on Wednesday but don't watch it until say, the following Tuesday. I guess that shows how not into that show I am. Although I will say that season is slightly better than last season.

For those of you who don't watch FIREFLY, I implore you to do so. At least watch one episode and see if you like it.

The next episode airs Friday, December 6th at 8:00 PM EST on FOX. If you're going out, set your timer!
