Trista was last year's "runner-up" in "The Bachelor". (Like Brooke was this year's "runner-up".)

At the time, I believe she was a Miami Heat dancer/cheerleader. Not sure if she still is or not.

I still think Alex was a fool for picking Amanda over Trista. He was too fixated on Amanda's chest, though, in my opinion.

Seriously though, I realize it might be pointless to try and assign any logic to this show...BUT...

• the name of the show is "the Bachelor", right?
• the dictionary [or dictionary.com] defines "bachelor" as An unmarried man.
• the show climaxes with "the bachelor" proposing to the "lucky" victim.

Yet, today on all the talk shows/news broadcasts they kept saying they're taking things "one day at a time"...

what's the point? or at least change the damn name.

Because he was an idiot in picking Amanda over Trista. Doesn't matter now anyway. I think Trista would make a better "Bachelorette" than Amanda since Trista has way more going for her in my opinion.

i feel very badly for brooke but i saw this coming a long time ago. his interaction with brook at his family's house and on their final date was very nonresponsive while with helene he was very friendly. brooke kissed aaron while he just sat there while with helene he was having fun and laughing. brooke behaved with tremendous class on the day of the engagement as well as on good morning america. she broke down in the limo but that is to be expected. from the interviews with the happy couple i think we can all tell their relationship is doomed. helene seems like a whiny talkative thing, very typical of nj girls unfortunately for me. but i have never seen someone who talked so much while kissing but if she does that during sex........

i think aaron is already regretting his pick and if i was his family and watching brooke behave with so much class under stress i would think aaron made the wrong choice as well.

Brooke is an immature baby. She acts very fake. She tries to put on the dog as I call it in front of everyone. I don't think she showed that much class. She also is not very intelligent.

I was turning the channels last night and caught part of this, never having seen it before. I dont know whos worse the girls that subject themselves to this, the Bachelor guy or the people that watch this on a regular basis. Its the equivalent to a car wreck on the side of the road.

Go read a book!
