Ed 11-20-02

Welcome to the Ed thread for 11-20-02. Tonight's episode looks to be a good one.
Spoiler:
The gang locks Ed and Carol in Stuckeybowl and lets them have it out.

i have a good feeling about this episode. the best times on this show are always when ed and carol are sharing a scene, now we get to have them together for the whole show!

I always watch ED at 7pm and then Amazing Race at 8pm. Why would you have to choose between the 2?

I love Ed and Carol but I was kind of hoping this week's episode would revolve around Stella's life in Boston.

Though I think it's a bit soon after being dumped at the alter to deal with her relationship with Ed, it will be nice to have all the feelings dealt with. I'm hoping for a good episode.

Well this was a GREAT episode up to the last 7 minutes.

I wish they'd just have let them both sign the contract and then teased us for the next year.

Now I bet it'll be Carol after Ed.

That ending sucked...they had such a great show going until then, too.

Wow! I can't believe she was about to bite his face off!

Seriously, why would she want to kiss him after he said that she thought she didn't deserve all the stunts he did for her and she was right? Did she just miss that last part? I thought she'd wanna take a swing at him with that bat after he said that.

The last scene was too much of a downer. If they're are going to have a fight, have them make a scene in the Goat. That was great! Reminded me of Moonlighting. There is such a thing as a funny fight.

Mike breaking to Jenifa was hillarious

Other than that, ehh.

BTW, the whole Kelly Ripa "I'm only sticking around if I'm first fiddle" was completely ridiculous. DUH! You were the one pressing him to stop the wedding, now you're wanting Ed to choose between you or Carol? The writers sure took a break on that one PLAYA!

well i have to agree that it was going along great until the end. i was kinda shocked when ed told carol that she didn't deserve all those things that he did for her. i do think now that they will reverse the whole thing and have carol going after ed instead of the way it has been. while i am not happy with the way this week ended, i figure that it is only a matter of time before they revisit the ed/carol thing. who knows what will happen when may gets here.

as for the rest of the show, this quote sums many things up...

"whaddya mean security risk? it's a bowling alley!!!!"

I liked it. I even liked the ending. I don't think it's translating into Carol pursuing Ed - there wasn't really anything to indicate she would other than that attempted kiss, and that looked like she was doing it because she thought that's how she was supposed to react more than anything.

couple years ago. Ed dressed like Robin Hood, threw pancakes at her window and they went at it like a couple of crazed Bassett Hounds.

Let me put on my flame-retardant suit and say this:

Spoiler:
Kelly Ripa is hotter than Julie Bowen anyway.

Honk!
