What a great episode. Once again Jack proves that he is willing to do ANYTHING to stop the terrorist plot (even killing *shudder* a DOG!
)
I love Mason! He is a wimp/beaurocrat/a**hole/champion/bada** all rolled into one. And he's a Hendrix fan!
NINA/YELENA is back! I, too, wonder how she could have met with Wald a few weeks back when she has presumably been in custody for her actions from last season. I hope they explain this and don't simply let it slip by.
I wonder how soon the fatigue and blood loss from the head wound will affect Jack.
Why is Kim even in this show? If her plotline is nothing more than a reason for Jack to be distracted during his critical mission, I'm gonna be pissed. No matter how stupid some people might believe the average teenager to be, 99 out of 100 would have told the doctor and/or the police that the dad has been hurting the little girl. What possible motivation could Kim have for not coming forward with this information?
I can't wait until next week.

I like looking at Kim but...
It's becoming more and more of a distraction each time they show her and that little girl that couldn't act her way out of a paper bag.
Maybe the producers wanted a distraction, but i think they just needed a sub-plot to help fill out 24 hours worth of shows. A sukekekekekekek sub-plot.

Medically : The Epi might help perk her up, but no EMT in his right mind would do that to a person who was internally bleeding. I don't think it's a stretch to assume that a person who had a metal beam collapse and land on her stomach and is unconscious with a low BP might be bleeding internally. Medically it's not totally sound, but it's within the scope of believability (as much as anything is plausable on this show
)
My all-time favorite medical blunder was on Picket Fences when Kathy Baker diagnosed a brain tumor by looking at a CT of the abdomen! I roared with laughter at that one.
As far as the show goes, I'm loving it again. Why not shoot that damn dog? It was attacking him. That Nina bit was a SHOCK (j/k
)! I wonder how she escaped though.
I try so hard to avoid the next episode spoilers, then on Sunday I'm watching the Simpsons and a promo comes on with Keifer yelling "Come on Joe, I killed all of them and I'll kill you, too!" Nice way to keep a suprise, Fox

Anyone notice that in the teaser for next week,
PUT TEASERS IN SPOILERS. It's in capital letters in the title of the stickied thread. - Static

You also might have noted that I posted in the post immediately before yours that I carefully avoid the promos and hate it when they spoil the upcoming episode

I thought 24 was much better this week than last week. I'm not sure why, it just held my attention better. But still, I wish the show had more depth to it - it's all just a shallow surface with no greater meaning or relevance - kind of like a Brukhiemer movie - but not nearly as insulting.

I think some of these characters are intentionally written stupid so that they impede the main plot. Kim, the evil advisor guy, the bride's sister.
On the plus side the story its still interesting and keeps moving...

Great episode.
Really enjoyed watching Jack's shootout with the 3 guys.Now it looks like Kim is going to get blamed for abusing the little girl.And the wife is now saying she kidnapped her daughter.President Palmer finally lays down the law in that no good secretary and that backstabbing guy on his staff.And of course the racist woman want's to ruin her sister's wedding because she doesn't like the foreign guy.Sure he may be a terrorist but it would brake your sister's heart if she found out that.
From the looks of it next weeks episode looks great.

and if it does not have to do with next weeks show, GET RID OF THE TAGS. go to the edit and delete the tags. thank you it gets annoying when half the thread is tagged. its your own fault if you come in to this thread and get spoiled.

Wait a minute; nobody said she escaped. How do you know she escaped? This better not be a spoiler or from the teaser (I avoid them religiously).

A couple of things...
Why did it take the dog @ 30-45 seconds to attack? Was he thinking it over? Did the guy contact him telepathically? What?
I stuck with this show last year because I liked the time frame idea so much. Still, I was getting close to being discouraged w/ Teri and Kim and the whole Perils of Pauline aspect of the show, but I was riveted again from the moment the Serbian connection was unveiled. I'm hoping there is a similar catalyst this year (the re-intro of next week's guest just might do it), because those little inconsistencies and annoyances (Kim n' Brat, etc.) are starting to get close to critical mass for me.
I was under the impression that to qualify as a "spoiler" something would pretty much have to give the full plot of the next installment, including it's ending/resolution. Some of you folks have a hair-trigger for what constitutes a spoiler. The on-screen promos for next week? Why in Hell would anyone want to avoid those? I'd like to have at least a suggestion of what to look for, myself.

Well, it looks like I'm going to have to stop reading these threads. Last season folks had the courtesy to put spoilers for upcoming episodes in tags, but that's not happening this season despite frequent requests to do so.
I'll see you all in the Season Finale thread. Enjoy the rest of the season.

This is not a spoiler or from the teaser... SHE'S IN THE PHOTOGRAPHS! DUH.... We don't know if she escaped or not, he was just assuming that since she was out and about, purchasing terrorist acts and plotting to blow up nukes, that she might not be contained....
Sheesh!... we need a 24 ALL SPOILERS thread...not necessarily to post spoilers, but to get rid of all the frigin "was that a spoiler, how could you do that to me!" posts...
