Getting this week's Alias thread started: Will Sydney be able to save Vaughn from the terrible virus affliction he's suffering from? Will her mother give up the antidote information? Is Sloane been driven over the edge yet in seeing fleeting Emily appearance around town?

I get an affiliate for ABC, and they have it delayed because of the football game. Argh! It doesn't come on until 1:30 AM my time. Won't be able to see it until tomorrow, as long as it tapes okay.

I thought the episode was ok, but not the best of the season. Couple observations:
Not enough action
Too much sentimentality
Not enough Marshall
Too much shirtless Sloane
A good episode, quite a few interesting twists...an enjoyable episode, but overall, nothing too special this season.

does anyone know the name of the song when syd went to take vaughn's blood? it started off with something like, 'slumber, my darling' and sounded a bit like allison krauss.

pretty good episode, but in two weeks it looks a whole lot better
Did anyone else just think that ending w/ Sloan was a little too obvious? what do you think was on Sark's piece of paper?

You have to wonder if Sark has blown Sydney's cover with Sloane with that piece of paper. The implications are scary as hell for both Sydney and Jack.
Vaughn...what a dope!
Will is getting himself deeper and deeper into some standardize testing doo doo.

No, the British chick does work at the paper that Will used to work at until he got the boot. It was a shame though, because Will's assistance was a major hottie.

I'm pretty sure Sark knows. Syd's mother obviously knew before she turned herself in, and he is her right hand man.
How about that decontamination scene?

It wasn't as good as last week, but still okay.
I loved the geisha get-up. I bet some people found it unrealistic, but I liked it. It's always fun to hear the different accents.
Dixon and Francie are almost never on-screen. Depressing, but true. Perhaps they are off having their own secret adventures at SD-5 or something.

Shirtless sloane .. hahahaha
when the paper scene in the ambulance came up, I thought Jack too, but then something about his dead wife made more sense.
Sounds like something the writers have debated about too, since they make it up as they go along

Good episode though I can go without anymore shirtless Sloane moments. I also miss Dixon maybe he's still recovering from accusing Sydney of being a traitor? Who knows.
About the paper, maybe it has something to do with Sydney's mom? As far as we know Sloane doesn't know the CIA has her in custody. If they're collaborating on Rembaldi artifacts that might make sense.

You have to wonder if Sydney didn't just crap her panties after seeing Sloane alive, and then getting the double whammy of seeing Sark in the same room, and then having Sark have the goods on her and her dad.

I really liked the episode. I am thinking that the paper has something to do with Sloane's wife, and not Sidney and Jack. I can't believe that I have to wait two weeks for the next episode.

This isn't necessarily related to last nights episode, but did they ever say what, exactly, was injected into Sloan's neck when he became a member of the Committee or whatever the secret organization is called?
