Fox's "all new hour"
I was happy and surprised when I saw commercials on fox during the week for "all new hours" of the Simpson's, Malcolm in the middle, and that 70's show. I thought that because of the world series fox had a few extra episodes to show and they were going to air them this week. I went to the fox web site to make sure so I could set my vcr. The that 70's show web page says:
LOOK FOR NEW BACK TO BACK EPISODES ON TUESDAY, November 19, AT 8:00PM
and the Malcolm page says:
Don’t miss an all-new, full-hour of Malcolm, Sunday, November 17th at 9PM/8C.
The only thing new (and even that is debatable) is the fox is airing two episodes in a row, the second episode being a rerun! Fox should do this with all their shows so we can have all new hours of the x-files and undeclared. Other stations could pick up on this too. Can't wait for season 3 of six feet under? How about an "all new hour" maybe from 7:00 - 8:00 a.m..
Is this a new practice or have they always done this.
