Celebrity Mole

Looks like shooting has finished on this. The contestants are:

Michael Boatman ("Spin City")
Corbin Bernsen ("L.A. Law")
Kim Coles ("Living Single")
Erik von Detten ("Dinotopia")
Stephen Baldwin ("The Usual Suspects")
Kathy Griffin ("Suddenly Susan")
Frederique (I don't know who this is...a supermodel?)

The host is Ahmad Rashad. There will be six episodes and it took them 2 weeks to shoot this (in Hawaii). Basically, "Mole Lite" with third-tier "celebrities." I'm shocked they couldn't get Coolio and Greg Brady.


I've loved previous incarnations of the show, but this looks to be terrible.

Even though I loved The Mole, I am not going to watch this crap. Couldn't they get one B actor? These are all C's and D's!

My guess for the Mole is Stephen Baldwin.

I only recognize four of those people. It's sad when "Fear Factor" can out-celeb you.

I recognize a couple of the names. Does anyone know when they are going to broadcast this?

I hope this isn't the death-blow for the original Mole. ABC execs will probably use the impending crappy ratings for this "lite" version as evidence to kill the franchise altogether.

Celebrities? I beg to differ......

Third tier celebs dont bother me too much... as long as they are good third tier celebs, unlike this group. The real killer is Ahmad Rashad- No Anderson Cooper? That is what makes Mole interesting, because Cooper is the Anti-Rashad kind of host, someone who is clever instead of someone who thinks they are funny and blindly reads off cue cards.
