Nevermind, just found it on google, from a poem by Yeats about the second coming.
Yeah, I figured that, when Lorne asked if that phrase meant anything to Angel, about 95% of the audience would be saying "uh, no?"

One of my favorite lines of poetry. Along with the first 4 lines of Byron's "She Walks in Beauty"

She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:

and the last section of Matthew Arnold's "Dover Beach"

Ah, love, let us be true
To one another! for the world, which seems
To lie before us like a land of dreams,
So various, so beautiful, so new,
Hath really neither joy, nor love, nor light,
Nor certitude, nor peace, nor help for pain;
And we are here as on a darkling plain
Swept with confused alarms of struggle and flight,
Where ignorant armies clash by night

Completely off-topic as anything can be, but invariably when I read the sickeningly-sappy Dover Beach I think of Anthony Hecht and his response poem.

Anyway...

Question -- Angel just busted into where Connor lived. Does that mean

a) Connor lives in a public place,
b) Connor hadn't lived there long enough or is too transient for it to be considered his home, or
c) Connor isn't human

I would think its because Connor doesn't own/rent the place...

Anyway, I thought it was a great episode. Yes, amnesia is an overused plot device, but Angel has so far used it to generate comedy AND action, so I'll forgive them. The Lilah/Wesley relationship seems to be the most intriguing at this point. Don't about the Connor/Cordelia thing - we'll see what next week brings.
