Can Carson daily have a guest not from the same builidng?

Can Carson daily have a guest not from the same builidng?
I noticed that Carson daily seems to get a lot of guest from SNL to come on the show. chris catan(sp) and then jimmy fallen. The SNL studio is like one floor below his. Can he actually get any real guest at his time slot?

he also gets a lot of his supposed personal friends to come on the show as well. like his neighbor, the guy who walks his dog, etc. . . 
(actually, more like kid rock, the guys from nerd, etc)

Actually, I think his set *is* the SNL studio. It looks familar anyway. Personally, I don't hink the show's that bad, Carson is a lot better when he's allowed to be himself, rather then on TRL. There's still a certain amount of awkwardness in his interviewing style, but it's gotten a lot better and he gets fairly good guests/bands for the timeslot he's in.

I had high hopes for the show when it premiered with Alicia Keys and they did the whole interview with her sitting at the piano. I was hoping with his MTV connection he would bring in mostly musical guests to interview, but it ended up being like every other talk show. Bring in someone with a movie to plug and have a band play a song or two.
When he does have an interesting guest he at least will ask some tough questions and he isn't afraid to make fun of himself, Mtv, and his image. I have my ReplayTV record it every night and I'll watch if it's a guest that interests me, otherwise I skip it. I haven't watched it in at least a month.

When he had Jimmy Fallon on (another SNL guest) they ran a montage of those clips with Jimmy saying that. Just another stupid skit on SNL, but comedy gold when played on Carson's own show
