Somehow I just don't picture her as Belle, but she took over the role in the Broadway production starting last week...

I'm skeptical, but according to the site, she has an extensive musical theater background, so maybe she knows her stuff...

Anyone know if she's any good? Just seems wierd to me!

Well, she does have a good voice, and it will be nice for her to get away from that one role. Seems I heard that she thought The Sopranos was about a bunch of singers and went to the audition hoping to launch her singing career.
But I have to be honest, she doesn't look like Belle as much as Meadow Soprano dressed up as Belle for Halloween.

Yeah, she's supposed to have a good voice, so I think it's fine.

I'm much more upset to learn that they've cast AJ as Willy Loman in a revival of Death of a Salesman.
