I Hate Those Coors Light Commercials!!!!!!!
GODDAMMIT!! I cant stand those Coors Light commercials with the stupid songs about twins!! I hate those f***ing things!! All of them the one about Love Songs and the other about My Favorite Things! Can I get through at least 1 football game without seeing any of those god-awful-f***ing commercials?

I love the commercials also. Catchy, flashy, hip.
Oddly enough, Miller also has a good advertising campaign going, and of course Budweiser also has some good skits (how does a stranger wearing a blond wig, french maid outfit, and a sixpack of Bud Light sound?).

Why did they switch from having that guy (grandson of the owner, I think), talking about the pure water and great Rocky Mountains, to cheerleaders / drunks in stands / angry football players?
Quite a 180 in advertising....

Actually, I don't think they are that bad. I mean there are far worse commercials out there. However, It seems that they may be overplaying them a bit. The thing I like about the Bud Light commercials is that they have so many that you rarely see the same one in the same sitting.

Who cares? All the excellent American breweries can't afford TV ads anyway.

Yeah. Damn kids with their loud music!!!!
This ad campaign is obviously not geared towards some age groups nor some people. This is meant for the party crowd. This is where they make most of their money. I have no clue why your watching commercials anyway. Get a Tivo and get over it.

Coors Light needs to realize that they only need to put the twins on screen for 30 seconds and have a Coors Light banner at the bottom. No flashy parties. No loud music. Just twins. Only twins. How it should be.

Huh, this is about the only commercial on TV right now that I can think of that I actually like.
How can you not love the twins??? And those cheerleaders at the end... I mean, DAMN!

I posted this exact same thing last week. These ads are so annoying, and I feel like I'm getting old since a bunch of dorks gearing up for a football game or partying all night, albeit with some twins, pisses me off instead of making me want to grab a beer. Of course, maybe it's that I already have a twin of my own, more fun than the dudes in the commercial, and drink better beer.
DTSC is right though -- it might be 90% due to that horrid "band". Do kids like that kind of crap??
BDLOU -- the "party" crowd? I like partying, and I've partied in a lot of places, and I've never been to a party like that. Oh wait, yeah I have... it was called a rave. And the music sucked there too. Also, their target demo is probably, and sadly, 18-24. Three of those years can't drink legally, and the other three don't have a lot of money. Anyone older than 24 I imagine wants to piss in Coors Light bottle, and then serve it to the bozos that actually find this sort of thing cool.

I guess I'm in the minority in this group, but I also think that the new series of commercials is pretty good. I thought the toon was catchy, and the twins are pretty damn hot. I've never been one to believe that commercials like that are effective in getting someone to buy the product ontheir own, but I think it definitely is a very memorable commercial whether you liked or disliked the commercial. Look at how many people here actually remember the commercial and product . I've got to think that on that note, it's a pretty effective campaign.

BTW, Coors Light is my beer of choice, so I guess I fit right in!

The images flash by too quickly for me to enjoy the visuals.
Great commercials, IMO are:
1. The Kia Commercial with "My Boyfriend" by Tom Tom Club. That blonde looks good in any era, whether she be a hippie chick, business chick, or modern day chick.
2. Captain Morgan with aerobics is considered "observation" sport (or something like that). I loooove the way one girl just thrusts her hip out while exercising!!
