Great version of Ring of Fire. Very Twin Peakish though (and I loved Twin Peaks), but not as good. I will tape the two hour version, because the initial hour tonight didn't interest me enough to have my undecided attention. Based on this one episosde, it won't be a show that I will watch this season.

This show is pretty weird. Anyone notice how everything was so cheap in the town, like the mechanic getting a tow truck to drive 30 miles back and forth with his car for only $10 and him getting that huge room for only $25 a night? It would be nice if it was on Tuesday every week. Thursday night is horrible, since I'm already flipping between two other shows in this time slot on Thursday nights, so I most likely won't keep watching this.

$1,045 ;)
They're going for a Twin Peaks meets U-Turn but it just doesn't have the weird or black humor of either. And none of the characters had any real charisma.
I don't know if by challenging the viewer, they're encouraging people to pick it apart, but thats what I feel like doing.
"Watermark LLC" with connections in the government - that wouldn't have anything to do with the Treasury Dept. does it?

During tonight's encore of the first episode at 8pm, they are supposed to use special graphics that point out the clues, so you know what to look for in future episodes.

Did anyone notice that at the end when "Who Wants to be a Millionaire " was on at the gas station, Regis called the top question "The $1,025,000 question"???????

if the title of the show, in this case "Black Box" is a hint like it was in the first ep. then I thought maybe the Television. They kept showing it and the morning talk show host said at one point "Television is the word" as the camera panned across it. There was also a little name plate sitting on top of it that said TELEVISION. I could be way off but that's all I picked up on. Unless the "Black Box" is the safe at Sid's house.

Already lost me. I'm moving on...
