I just saw a bilboard for "The Larry Sanders Show" syndicated on ABC here in LA. How can they put this show on network TV without the swearing? The swearing was so juicy on that show. Like a David Mamet play, the swearing was so much a part of the characters and the show.

I was really eager to watch the new season of Sopranos. So I borrowed seasons 1-3 and watched all of them in a two week period. Was time well spent... didn't get boring at all.
But now I have a void in my life, since I'm not watching 5 eps a day...

I managed to catch the season 4 premiere encore on HBO last night while I was home at my parents' house.
A great show, can't wait to watch the first three seasons on DVD. Only one question about Christopher:
I also liked how the show actually acknowledged the terrorist attacks and the economic troubles of the nation. A nice touch of realism. Not to mention the very truthful observation by Steve Van Zandt (can't remember his character's name) that their business and certain facets of the entertainment industry are the only spots not to feel a recession.
