Marathons this weekend: what should I watch? And why?

I’m tempted by 24 – haven’t seen it and a lot of folks around here seem to love it.

What else is on? What should I watch?

Dang, thanks for reminding me about the 24 marathon... YES. See it. Watch it. Love it. I'd better get the TiVo ready.

I just (2 days ago) upgraded my replayTV to an 80 gig HDD so I can record this .

I would definitley say watch the 24 marathon, it sucked me in when it was on weekly and I think it'll be even better without the wait between episodes.

There's a "Good Eats" marathon on Food Network. I mean, if you like that kind of thing. [/sissy]

Is anyone considering a 24 hour "24" marathon? I've been thinking about this. The fX marathon starts at midnight. If I get Dominos on speed dial and plenty of cigarettes it would be very cool to watch 24 in "real time".

I have a feeling watching 24 episodes consecutively would only further accentuate the lack of the 24-hour mentality in much of the show.

I gotta do Good Eats on Sunday (he's showing the top 12 episodes as voted by viewers), then a few of my favorite Star Trek TOS episodes on Monday (Scifi chan).

what i would do is so you dont miss an episode or have sleeping problems, buy (or rent if availible) the dvd when it comes out in sept and if you dont like it, sell it on ebay or half.com

Looking at Yahoo TV Listings, there are some other marathons going on:
  • "VIP" on TNN
  • "Star Trek" on Sci-Fi
  • "Single in the City" on WE
  • "A Baby Story" on TLC
  • "Behind the Music" on VH1
  • MTV 2 on MTV
  • "Incredible Vacation Videos" on Travel Channel
  • "Law and Order" on TNT
  • "Murder She Wrote" on A&E

Now that's just what I see on my TV Listings. I could be wrong, so you'd have to check yourself.

I'm going with the S Club 7 marathon. Why should you watch?

Because of them. . .

& especially her. . .
