Family Guy up for Emmy after being canned....again

Family Guy was actually nominated for that semi-offensice song that made me bust out laughing. When Family guy won a few year back for best voice-over (beating out the Simpsons and King of the Hill), Fox took another look at the series and renewed it for another year. Does anyone think they have a chance this year? If they win, will Fox take yet another look at the show or let it rest?

How is the theme song "semi-offensive"?

Lois : "It seems today, that all you see, is violence in movies, and sex on T.V.,"
Peter : "But where are those good o' fashion values,"
Family : "On which we use to rely"
Family : "Wealthy there's a family guy"
Family : "Wealthy there's a man who, positivly can do, all those things to make us"
Stewie : "Laugh and Cry!"
Family : "He's, A, Family, Guuuuuuuuuuuy!"

The nomination wasn't for the theme song. It was for the song called "You’ve Got A Lot To See" from the episode "Brian Wallows And Peter Swallows". See http://www.ascap.com/membership/emmy2002/

Maybe I'm the only one who hated the fact that TFG started to limit the shock humour, it's stock-in-trade, in favour of boring, overlong musicals in the last year of existence.
