I believe it is his imitation of Roddy's control over Jason when he talks to him.

It sure looks like that. Was that spooky or what? Is Roddy going to start Roddy Mind Control Seminars when BB is over?

I hate Roddy and I cannot stand to see people fall for his crap again and again.

There are some people I don't want to see win. Roddy is the only one I would hate to see win.

Yes, that was just me poking fun at Roddy hyp-mo-tizing Jason into not nominating him this week.

Here's my take of the secret of Roddy's success:

After watching tonight's episode where Jason had Roddy in the HoH room to talk about Roddy telling everyone that Jason betrayed his trust by voting to boot Eric, Roddy was able to turn the tables on Jason by feeding into Jason's inherent guilt over that vote, and continually telling Jason that he trusts him, over and over and over again.

What Roddy is doing it one of the oldest scams in the book: Roddy's playing the Confidence game where the scammer doesn't ask that you trust them, but they will impress upon the fact that they TRUST you and that alone feeds into naive people's vanity that a person would trust them to do the right thing.

If you've ever seen "House of Games" or "The Grifters", then you know how the Confidence Game works. Anyhow, that is how Roddy garner's people support, he flat out appeals to their vanity by telling them that he trusts them totally to do the right thing, and Roddy is very good in always keeping this word (whatever that "perceived" word is to another houseguest), so the other person can't come back and say that Roddy betrayed them later.

But since Jason DID betray Roddy, Roddy's using it to corner Jason into a moral quagmire, and Jason fell for Roddy's confidence scam.

Roddy makes for great TV in how he's doing this to other competitors at the right time he needs to do damage control. Remember, everyone of these houseguests have weak spots, and Roddy finds it and exploits it for his own survival without breaking deals.

Jason just gave the Game to Roddy and he knows it. I was yelling at the tv set, "you meow( sound effect of what I was calling him cause I am not sure if its ok to say that here)"

Jason doesnt deserve the money because he forgot he playing a game.

YOu Meow! I bet his christian pals back home are saying the same thing.

I actually like Roddy. If he wins he definitely deserves it.

Guys, do not ever forget that RODDY is a writer! If his readers (the HGS) are that dumb, they will never figure out the LOOPHOLES in his STORIES. If he wins this game, Big Brother should let him write the screenplay of the Big Brother: The Movie.


Disclaimer: I'm not saying that those people who will watch that film (Big Brother: The Movie to be written by Roddy) are dumb and stupid.

My opinion of who is playing the best changes again -

Right now, Roddy replaces Gerry (and surpassed Lisa and Jason) as the New Best Player of the Game so far.

Gerry - should have known that he needs to win HOH everytime he is eligible to compete. Each HG are seem determine to take him out of the house ASAP (more urgent than Roddy). Only a miracle will save him from eviction this week. I hope the POV winner will do a Gerry (i.e, save him like what Gerry did to Marcellas)

The Miracle?: uses the POV to save Gerry and . Hopefully, what's going on right now is that Jason is taking Roddy for a ride. Yeah, unless Jason is really in love with Roddy , I cannot see why he is clueless who the real Roddy is. Roddy never took care of Jason much less look for his best interest in the house. Roddy even lobbied for Jason's nomination when Amy was HOH.

Lisa - I'm not really sure if she is still doing and saying the right things at the right time. Only time will tell now.

Low: She really wanted to evict Roddy but did not take the golden opportunity. She should not allow the emotions of others dictate her how to play the game.
High: Very much under the radar of all existing alliances.

Jason - can't do anything right? (WEAK & PUPPET) He may have some surprises during the homestretch.

Low: Then a puppet of Dani, now a puppet of Roddy. If Dani does not make the Final 2, and it's Roddy vs. Jason. Jason will not get a single vote, not even from Dani's.
High: IF HE CAN DO THAT TO DANI, NO DOUBT HE MAY TURN THINGS AROUND AGAINST RODDY!

PREDICTING BB3 WINNER NOW IS TOO CLOSE TOO CALL!

Roddy just made himself capable of winning it all, Danielle is in trouble. Gerry may be booted off this week. This is indeed one hell of a week, and BB3 season is one hell of reality game & show. GREAT GAME, GREAT SHOW.

That's what the games all about, getting people to fall for your crap! It's not about surviving or knowing all the answers, its about swaying people to your way of thinking so when they are in power, they don't see you as a threat.

And that's Roddy's game, and he's kicking ass in it.
I was saddened to see Jason agonizing and crying over the decision he had made, he's truly a nice guy and he really has no place in the game this far in when its all about lying to people's faces. However, I may just be dumb, but this move may be the one that keeps him in longer, should Roddy get to power again.

When they showed Jason's "tell" (the fidgeting, the stuttering, the hand through his hair) in Saturday night's episode, it's painfully obvious this is a "boy" playing a man's game. Jason is still young and impressionable, and naive.

If Roddy weren't around, BB3 would be more boring because Roddy challenges the rest of the houseguests to play a game upstairs that many aren't willing to play these past 3 weeks.

I don't deny that. I will also admit that if these people do keep falling for Roddy's crap, they do not deserve to win. But that doesn't mean I have to like it.

Roddy and Dani need to win HOH this week. Then eliminate the other. If they can manage that and get rid of Lisa, the game would be theirs!!

I just think he needs to get laid.

Well, you can always have a change of heart if you uncover new information 1 day after nominations that another person is betraying you, and thus get another shot to "protect" yourself or another ally.

Maybe not, that's what caused me to stutter in the first place.

The POV is pretty much useless IMO, it only has been used once if I recall and that was the first week. Each week they always build it up like their gonna use it, but never do. I hope they make it mandatory to use it next season. Anyway, I hope Amy gets the boot tomorrow.
