I want Wilbon's and Kornheiser's agents - got to be the longest vacation I've ever seen.

Although, Kornheiser was on suspension last week. Not sure what the problem is this week.

Not goo to not have a show just a few days after you are featured in Entertainment Weekly.

Kornheiser said he would be on vacation most of this month on his radio show before he heard about the suspension. I am assuming that he is on vacation this week. He is not due back on the radio for another week and a half.

This really making me angry. I wish they could give us a date when at least tony or mike will be back so I don't have to be disappointed every time i turn on PTI and see somebody else in their chairs...

What happened? I missed PTI today.

So did ESPN. "Pardon the Interruption will not be seen today, so we can bring you a special presentation from NFL Films: Kansas City Chiefs, the 1998 Season" (or some lame ****).

I do kind of like the Max Dan Batard combo it is nice to see that Max Kellerman can do things other then boxing. But I want TK, and Wilbon back damnit. Also why is TK suspended.

Max is okay. I'd like him a lot more if he wasn't so NYCentric.

i missed the first 5 minutes of today's show. what did they say about smoltz?

All I remember from the first five minutes is that Tony & Michael will be back on Monday! It's about time.

they said that smoltz doesn't want to be a closer but go back to starter and that it won't happen because smoltz has no say so and also that his body can't take it.

i am getting sick of dan whatever the he!! his name is. max i can stand but the other guy is getting way too beligerant. first he is dissing stat boy but did anyone catch today during toss up that he seemed to be getting mad that the producer wasn't getting the question out fast enough?

yeah it's funny how dan was really nervous when he did his first show alongside TK and now that he has seniority over max he thinks he is all that. the other day he was telling max that he didn't answer the question well enough. get him outta there!

I agree that Max and Dan are bad. I think the best non Tony and Mike hosts were Bob Ryan and David Aldridge. It's good to see them coming back on Monday. Good riddance to Dan LaBatard.

I still like the "Stat Face" moniker that LeRetard created.

As for hosts, I'd probably go with DA and Tafoya as my two subs with 5 Good Minutes from Norman Chad.

Maybe I am a little bias being from the Boston area, but I found Bob Ryan to be great on that show when he hosted a few times a couple weeks ago. He knows his stuff, VERY opinionated and passionate, and being a great and well respected sports journalist, he brings that something extra to the show.


P.S. But I do agree, the regular hosts do need to get back, the ones they have had lately are horrible.

Alright, Tony's back doing "PTI" and he was on "The Sports Reporters" on Sunday. So why is he still "on vacation" from his radioshow?

And did anyone hear the internet broadcast today? Trey Wingo (who's in Bristol, CT) was guest hosting with Andy Pollin (who I'm guessing was in DC) and there were moments where they were talking to each other, but you only heard one-half of the conversation. One would speak and then total silence for few seconds and then their response. The internet broadcast has gone downhill since they cut the feed during commercial breaks. They should keep mics open during commericals again. It was hilarious listening to Tony bitch about ESPN managment . Plus the Michael Wilbon phone-ins during the break were great too.

Tony will be back on the radio monday.

That's the truth. It just wasn't the same when you sit down to watch PTI and you get dan lebatard and max kellerman.

Also, i thought it was pretty funny how wilbon asked tony about his "vacation".

Tony is not coming back to the radio until wednesday of next week now.
