David Letterman watchers...need confirmation

In this thread http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...5&pagenumber=1 on Michael Jackson, I said,
I can't believe that he would seriously call the music industry racist. He made far more money when he was black than when he was white.
And MatthewCho said that I beat Letterman to the punch. Did he actually use that, and was it after my post? Anyone confirm? It would amuse me.

damn... couldn't tell ya. Last night's show was the first Letterman I've missed it months.

I can say though that that definitely sounds like a Dave monologue joke

I distinctly remembered that joke from somewhere, but can't place it. It very well could have been Dave and if it was it was probably Wednesday's show.

It's an old joke. I've heard it many times. Seems like I remember hearing it on Weekend Update, but I've definitely heard it before, and not recently.

Me too. Old joke. Letterman definitely ripped someone off, but not you. Who knows who originally said it?

I wasn't arrogant enough to think Dave ripped me off.
