Exactly my point. America is the only place where it hasn't been shown (legally).
Why is Sci Fi going to change their name anyway?

For leapers it will never be dead in the water. There is always hope.

It this was actually going to air in four months, we'd have heard a lot more about it by now than an anonymous TVRage page.

Good point, I've never actually used TVrage before, just saw it linked from another site.

Yeah. I want to see this as much as the next person, but at this point I'm not going to believe it until five minutes after I finish watching it.

Taken from the link:

Note: Quantum Leap: A Bold Leap Forward is not going to definitely happen. So far it is 50/50 as Trey Callaway and Donald P. Bellisario are in talks. The fans want the original actors to appear in it - Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell. At first Scott Bakula was tied up with Star Trek: Enterprise, but as that program is now cancelled, Scott is available to do the program. Dean is also available, and both Donald and Trey are enthusiastic, but they need to decide on a script and film the pilot episode, which so far has not started.

I think I will pass on both. Quantum Leap has too much to live up to and will disappoint, and do we really need more Tremors stories?

Now, if you could get Sci-Fi to do an updated version of Space 1999 then we'd have something.

Any new leap series won't be as good as the original
