New Hardees commercials

Anyone else see the Hardees commercials for the Philidelphia Roast Beef sandwich where the guy who eats one gets incredibly bad breath from the onions? Is this really the best way they could find to sell their new product ?

I heard the radio version of this commercial a few days ago....funny thing is that all the Hardee's in this area have been closed for about a year.

Very Odd.

Wow. Same here.

I didn't know Hardee's was still around. Been about ten years since the last one I knew of closed up.

Well I'll be damned: http://www.hardees.com

Why bother? Nobody can top the stellar performance of Norm "Hardees Star" McDonald.

Wow! Mississippi has about 50 locations. Who'd have guessed? There are like 7 in Texas but most of them are a long ways from me.

Thats the "Carl's Jr." star that Hardee's stole or bought or was forced to use.

i wondered about this too. i went to hardees all the time when i lived in PA. now i live in CA and haven't seen any. i went back a few years ago and noticed that hardees had changed their logo and that it matched carl's jr. i guess carl's bought them out, but i believe hardees kept their original menu, which was quite different from carls.

Hardee's is the eastern version of Carl's jr. Carl's jr owns them or is in the same family chain as them. they both have just about the same burgers, and yes, there advertisements = teh suck..

carl's jr's "if it doesn't get all over your face" ad was terrible.
