I don't like Amy either. I can't believe that she ripped on "that northern accent". Pahleeeze, like she should talk. Amy's accent is majorly annoying, and she comes off as a southern priss.

Does anyone want me to post in spoiler text who get nominated? The BB3 Live feeds are up:

There's some funny stuff in there already. But it's too chaotic to figure who's really in an alliance with whom at this point. I can't follow all of the pairings and re-pairings. The only sure thing is that no one trusts Josh at all, and they always stop talking strategy when he "walks" into rooms. Gerry has told Josh to knock it down a few notches, and go into observation mode.

I know, that so funny!

I mean, I guess this woman never watches TV or movies or anything since that's how 99% of people in broadcasting speak.

"I don't like that northern accent ... MidWest .. Upper West whatever it's called."

I found it strange how they all decided to pick on the black dude right away. I wasn't aware he had even done anything to anybody.
-that dude is gay...he brought in on himself

-did you see how he he was running + he look like an alien

if I were from Memphis or Arkansas, I would be pissed that Amy is representing that area on the show. She is to stupid to describe and I will not waste my time ranting...and oh yeah, Chiara is kind of sexy...

I've lived in the South all my life- no accent though. Thats a weird comment. Reminds me of once when I pointed at a model on tv or a magazine and said to my best friend, "Meet my future wife" or something like that. He then asked, "What if it was a girl that looked like that but she spoke with a high, thick, grating Southern accent. Would you still think the same?"... I've grown up around those accents all my life, and even I cant stand the kind she has.

Anyone think Eric (the fireman) is gay? In his bio, he said he would be willing to sleep with the gals to win. Although that could be taken in another way. Just came across my mind from the get-go.

Josh gets on my nerves. An obvious snake. He and the black guy Marcellas should be nominated (yes, I know who actually was).

There's going to be an update on the BB2 cast in the weeks to come. Can't wait.

Josh = Thinks he is going to be the Will of this show.
I think....noooooooooot!
Frickin' loser.
----------
Marcellus was an idiot. He basically wants to look like the idiot and become everyone's dog...and I know he is going to take that "token gay guy" syndrome to the extreme in the coming weeks. Bunky was a little "ehhhh", but he didn't seem to rub his homosexuality the wrong way like Marcellus seems to be doing.
---------
And did you see how Danielle(is that her name) and Marcellus "hooked" up for the first food challenge..

Josh = Oh my good, what a tool, and annoying too. Definately trying to be the Will of BB3, but he can't fill those shoes. Will was beneath all his scheming, likeable. Trying to set up so many alliances this early and already starting to backstab....stupid move. I have to imagine that the houseguests aren't that dumb and see through his "plot." As much as I don't like him, Lisa was smart as all hell to not dispatch him right now. Lisa resemblence to a stretched out Alanis Morrisette is kinda scary....I keep swaying on her because of being part of the Josh lead clique.
_____

Marcellus...giving Chicago a bad name. Giving gay Chicagoans a bad name - of which I am not, but grunter may want to kick his ass and I'll help. Seriously, what strategy besides being annoying and not making connection is he playing.
_____
Chiara and the mother of 5 are damn hot.

So what? Why does this matter, because they are black? Everyone else who "hooked" up was white and I bet no one watching the show sat back and thought, "geeez, look at those two!"

If there's anyone to blame it is CBS for a lack of diversity on these shows. I enjoy Big Brother a lot but it wouldn't kill anyone to have more than two blacks per reality series or Asians or Hispanics, etc.

I'd get booted out for being a non-joiner on the first week. My personality would never get me on that show.

Tonight's show was good in its recap of what's being going on, though they left out a lot of personal stuff (and the sleeping arrangements, like Lisa actually slept outside the HoH room so that she wouldn't be "out of the loop". Lori goes a bit nutty after getting nominated, but calms down when "they" assure her that Marcellas is going home. Lori's very emotional, and she's going to have to keep that in check if she wants to stick around. I would still find it funny if the women figured out a way to boot off all the guys first (they'll probably keep Jason the virgin around for as long as they could, though).

Josh is too stupid to stay on the show in the next 6 weeks (of course, he'll make it to final 3, and someone will dredge up this post to mock my precog abilities).

I thought that he was going to be Will but I agree Josh is a poor imitation of Will. You know this guy is trying to hog screen time. Annoying as heck. And why in the world didn't HOH vote for him? Because she knows he is an unlikeable snake-in-the-grass who won't win? Unlike Will, Josh doesn't have any charisma although he thinks he does.

Why don't you just relax and let me have my opinion...

and my opinion is that Marcellus is trying to stick with Danielle, because she is black...

call me politically incorrect, but I know it is the truth.

And don't give me any of this racist bullcrap. I am no racist, but I am not blind to see things in this world.

And that is all I am going to say about racism, now you can get back to BB3....

I will not reply to your comments on this post, so you might as well not post them.

Thanks!

Don't reply to this, I don't care.

But it's obvious that someone of one race will feel more comfortable with someone of the same race. So, why even bring it up? I don't hear you talking about how the other contestants were sticking to their other white housemates.

Honestly, how is he trying to stick with Danielle? Besides the first episode--mind you I don't watch the show on the Internet--I haven't seen Marcellus try and stick with ANYONE on the show period, regardless of race. He seems like he's currently a loner, which according to Lisa is why he was nominated.

Your observation seems pointless to me.

Anyone else think it's funny how they'll have a challenge on network TV where they'll have men and women switch bathing suits in a pool of slime... yet they wont have swear words, or nudity?

I mean, that just totally blows my mind.

Wooooo.... Here we go....

What is the ratio of blacks and whites in the US?

I think CBS came pretty close in representing that ratio!

Maybe we can have an all black Big Brother?

Like the all Black award shows... Or the all Hispanic award shows... Whats up with that?

I would imagine that everyone would freak if they had an all white Oscars?

But, I really don't want to get off topic... =)

The point seems very clear... The two minorities immediatly are trying to stick together.

Isn't that what happened? Yes.

It is a valid observation.

It would be just as valid as someone saying, "Man, I can't believe the two Brothers are not even talking to each other!" (If that is what was happening.)

It is YOU who seems to be a little sensative to race...

It does...

It would easily be as entertaining as the current show! Maybe more...

For those who want to know what the BIG CHANGE is in the structure of the game, here's what I've gathered (in spoiler):

Spoiler:
There's something called the Veto Challenge which allows the winner of the Veto Challenge to remove someone from nomination, and put someone else up for eviction. This is a cool wrinkle on the game, and from week to week, 3 people are up to the boot, and no one can feel safe for the whole week after the initial nominations. The current vibe is that if (among Lisa, Eric, Tonya, Chiara) one of them gets Veto power, they will put remove Marcellas and put Gerry up for nomination, and then work to get Gerry the boot because they don't like the way he thinks he's running the show "behind the scenes".

There are so many little subgroups, but there's one main one called "The Six" which comprises of Lisa, Josh, Eric, Roddy, Chiara, and Tonya. Gerry thinks he's in another alliance with Josh, but keeps saying that Gerry is an easy vote to control, a pawn. They want Marcellas out first, and then Jason, and are not too crazy about Danielle or Amy.

Marcellas was a hoot the way he was critiquing all the ladies fashion choices. I'd like to see him stick around if only for that comic relief.

Lori seems very nice. I can't believe she was nominates, especially after Lisa vowed revenge on Josh. I hate it on these shows when people KNOW who the bad people are, yet they keep them around.

Look at last year. They kept Will around figuring he was easy to win against-- then he won the thing. Same thing with Rich from Survivor.

I guess I am a big beleiver in karma, and I want to see the mean people lose.

You want to be standing next to a mean/bad person when it comes down to the final 2...

Last year, Wil was that mean bad person, but he was standing next to Nicole, who everyone hated worse than Wil... Nicole was fake.. Wil was at least honest in his lying...
