Politically Incorrect: the Future?
During the last show Bill starts commenting about Arianna Huffington being a good friend and all. He then stands up, reaches inside his jacket pocket and pulls out a velvet case. He gets on one knee and opens the case.
"Arianna I have to ask you...will you be the first guest on my new show?"

Yeah that was pretty funny and his setup was great; even though we know how commited he is to staying single.
But gosh darnit ABC had to air a commercial for The Mole during Bill's finale that gave away a major spoiler !

You guys that said 1-hour long and on HBO were right on the money.
He also posted on his website that he won't announce any plans until after his "rest" but implied there's a good chance that he'll have a new show in the same vein of discussing issues with multiple guests.
a Miller/Maher hour would suit me just fine.

hour long would be good too, I always though his show was too short, it did get better once they took out the monologue though.
They also need to keep the same format, I couldn't take Bill cramming his views down my throught for an hour. Some of his stuff he's right on with but other stuff he's way off base. He needs someone there to rebute him.

The problem with Politically Incorrect is that it's only half and hour, and it's full of commericals. It FEELS like ten minutes.
So even though I don't have HBO (impossible to get HBO where I live) I would like to see him on cable.

I got to see the last two episodes at my boyfriends. I loved them. Interesting to see the last episode showed more of a "balance" between Conservatives (Huffington, Coulter) and Liberals (Kid, Phillips).
They have to keep him going.

Ariana Huffington really doesn't fall exclusively into the 'conservative' category anymore. Reading her column one can see that she's much more independent now a days than she was five years ago. She's so much less dogmatic than Ann Coulter that I actually find myself agreeing with her from time to time. I'd even go so far as to say that Bill's show has had an influence on the broadening of her stance over the years.

Funny. Ann Coulter was saying how important it was for shows like his and people like him to be around and to be visible.

to both ideas, although, is it just me or has Miller become markedly more hedonistic (conservative) over the years?

Surf - I like the fact that the person who said it probably sits on the otherside of most issue from him. But still felt his voice was valid and should be heard.

He kept laughing at him and saying "a little thing called the Constitution" and being really sarcastic. I was in shock at what a prick that Dennis Miller was being. I gave him credit before for being more Libertarian and pro-individual rights.
I was wondering if he was high or soemthing when he was on PI.

On his latest show, he was going off on the "Pledge of Allegiance" thing. He's starting to sound like Limbaugh with a pocket Thesaurus.
Bleh.

Jadzia - But the way the guy was talking it was as if Miller had never heard of the constitution. That's what he was making fun of. Miller knows about the constitution.

He was basically saying it was no big deal and the Ritter guy said something like "Except for a little thing called the Constitution" and that's when he started laughing at the guy.
I thought Dennis Miller was acting like he was high or something, he was being so rude and sarcastic to this guy, who was actually making some good points.
