The promoted the hell out of a two parter where they'd announce who Cartman's father was. But when it came time to air part two, they aired <I>literally</I> a T&P episode, not <I>South Park</I>. It was April Fool's Day, and it pissed people off so much. Like others have said, it was a stroke of genius. A few weeks later, they actually aired part two and smacked their viewers in the face again by revealing Spoiler:
das Do you know what's really funny? I don't think anyone mentioned this, but in "Cartman's Mom is a Dirty Slut" they keep showing ads for "Not Without My Anus" being shown next week. So it shouldn't have been a surprise for everyone :) |
i remeber when every one was talking about who the father was. i was going to watch it, but then forgot. next day, everyone was pissed that there was a t&p episode insted.
