Dog Eat Dog
Did anybody watch this new game show tonight? I thought it was pretty entertaining. Six contestants compete for $25,000 by participating in various trivia and physical challenges. The catch is that the challenge is announced and then the contestants vote for who they think will not be able to do the challenge. The one who is chosen then attempts the challenge. If he loses, he is sent to the dogpound. If he wins, he chooses one of the contestants who voted for him to go to the dogpound. When only one remains, he has to compete against the entire dogpound to either win it all or lose it to be split among his former contestants. Pretty cool concept for a game show.
Oh and by the way, the host is hot.

Widow did an amazing job keeping up with the treadmaster.
Doubt I'll watch the show again. Besides the eye candy (she sucks as being a host) "The Chair" was more entertaining and that's not saying much.

i only watched because i wanted to see widow get dunked into the water to see if his makeup would run. the host is terrible, the questions are ridiculously simple and the stunts are boring as hell to watch. and when it comes down to it, the "top dog" doesn't even really have a chance to answer questions themselves, it seems like a pretty helpless position to be in.

I watched a few minutes last night. Since it is on during the summer I think it will last more than a few weeks, but not by much. Pretty sucky. But Brooke Burns looks nice. Not a game show host type, but pretty.

Not only that - in the "final challenge" against the Dog Pound, the folks in the dog pound get unlimited time to answer the questions (the one chick was too 5 minutes going "Um... who is Angelina Jolie's Oscar-winning father?... hmmm..." Like she was gonna pull Jon Voight out of the air - Richard Dreyfus was her answer - aren't all these contestants acting wanna-be's anyway?
I think the one other element not mentioned is that all 6 contestants spend some outdoor "training time" together before the show so they have an idea who is weakest at what.
I too watched to see Widow take the plunge (which they wired him away from - big let down). Brooke was all like "You were running on our treadmills HIGHEST setting! That's CRAZY!" Yeah and he was wearing torn fishnet stockings over red leggings and knee-high combat boots. What does that say about your treadmill? Weak... doubt I'll watch again.

Wow, you guys were a lot more critical of this show than I was. I thought it was fairly entertaining for a summer show. I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it, but I'll probably tune in from time to time as long as it lasts.

I was mildly amused. I wanted to see the freaky guy do something physical in those boots. Pretty whack.
Obviously he was a retard though, cause i got like 9 of the first 10 questions for that treadmill thing.
I'd watch it again.

I didn't like the blatant mention of sponsors, i.e. let's look at the Circuit City big screen for the replay.
