i'm new here so i don't know if anybody here really digs Angel or Buffy, but i have a question (with total spoilage alert):

in the Angel season finale, cordelia is whisked away by the powers to another plane of existence. cute mr. boreanaz is obviously back, but what about about charisma carpenter? is she leaving the show and i wasn't told?

Read this for a good explanation of what really happened on the finale. It makes complete sense after reading it, like they say at the end of it, they did a really lousy job of conveying what really was going on in the episode.

For those too lazy to read it, it says that cordelia's conversation to herself in the mirror was really a vision warning her about Skip. She interpretted it as confirmation to go after Angel. She didn't really ascend to another plane, she was in some way 'trapped' by Skip. Should be interesting to see what happens next season now. I thought it was kind of dumb that she ascended to another plane.

Even as an avid Angel watcher I was left somewhat bewildered by what the hell was going on in that episode with Cordy. Now its all under control.

Charmisa is signed on for season 4. She will be back. I really hope Groo returns as well! He was so damn cool and likeable. Plus, what the hell else is he going to do? Go to Sunnydale? Become a bouncer?
