the best new episode of the simpsons in the past several years.

I give it an A+

Man this was one great episode.

"Force Your Daughter To Work Day"

"Liser"

"You won't eat our meat but you glue with our feet..."

"You're like my mommy after her box of wine..."

That was a great Itchy and Scratchy - I Can't Believe It's Not Scratchy

No kidding. I couldn't catch my breath after that bit.

The gymnastics coach was freaking hilarious. "It is cat now!"

Finally, a funny Lisa episode. In most of them it's 22 minutes of her moping and playing her sax. This one had some great stuff. The poetry reading was classic!

Great, great episode, and I usually hate Lisa episodes. It's ones like this that renew your faith in this show.

oh yeah. this show has definitely run its course [jumped its shark -- whatever you wanna call it].

all those naysayers were right. i'm glad Matt G was talking about ending it.

the part with all the stuff stuck in the tree was great. a couple years ago, I got a football stuck in a tree and kept throwing stuff into the tree to get it down, and they kept getting stuck up there, too. Believe it or not, a horseshoe went up and never came back down.

"Who wants to put on a leotard and get screamed at?"
"Well... hookers and Spider-man."

"Well I can't argue with the man who wrote PROFILES IN COURAGE."

"Yes, uh, wro-te it. Well, uh, good luck Liser."

"Thanks! I'll see you in heaven!"

"Yes, uh-er, hea-ven."

Considering the decline in recent years, I agree this one was great. Full of great gags and lines from begin to end. Most of the new episodes teeter out after the first commercial break but this one didnt. They definitely saved the best for last this season.

Yeah, I thought it was just me....a great episode, one of the best in a long time. Maybe it's me, but the Simpsons is doin' just fine. Several classics in the last few months.

I loved Marge's line about college being dangerous "all those quadrangles". It's so true where else but a college campus do you find places called "___ quad"?
