Kathy wins the reward challenge - having her son Patrick with her for one day in the tribe - he hated the griminess of it all.

Vecepia came from behind to win immunity in a slingshot contest that ultimately came down to her and Neleh. Poor Neleh looked so disappointed when she was eliminated.

Mark Burnett has cut this episode to make it look like Neleh is getting the boot. We shall see....it could be the General, though.

The General has been ejected from the tribe.

They did a good job last week making it look like something horrible was going to happen...turns out they were just trotting out family members.

The reward challenge was cool, with the family members and such. I was happy that Neleh didn't get voted out. But I think shes gone next week, too bad becasue I really like her

I know--I hate when the promos are so misleading. The show I expect to be that way, but the promos?

Actually, Kathy is now the swing vote, and depending on how she does in the final immunity challenges, she can ride all the way to the final two. She just needs to take Sean with her.

She's only the swing vote for next week's show. After that she's odd women out. The odds are against her winning the immunity challenge because if anyone else wins it, she's out. It's her against everyone else in the immunity challenges.

She should have stuck to her plan and got Robert, Sean and V to vote out Neleh. Then they could have voted out Pashcal next assuming he didn't win immunity. Then it would be 2 vs 2 in the vote but Sean and V have lots of votes against them, so Kathy and Robert would win the tie-breaker.

Who said Kathy ever had a working plan. Just because she talked about it with her son doesn't mean that she ever mentioned it to anyone else, or if she did, that they ever agreed to the plan with her. It takes more than one to have a plan.

I liked the reward. If I hadn't seen my wife for over a month, I would be pumped. Kathy's son was sort of a wuss though. He whined the whole time. I'm not saying I would like it or wouldn't whine, but I definitely would do it in private, not in front of all of TV land and make myself look like a puss.

Joining with Kathy would be a no brainer for Robert. He knows he is the next to go. Forming an alliance with Kathy, Sean and V would have been his only hope. I'm surprised he didn't try to form one.

Somewhat. She should make the final-3 no matter which way she chooses and she has a 1 in 3 shot to win immunity then. Maybe even better depending on the type of challenge.

I see doom for either Sean or Vecepia (whoever doesn't win immunity next week) because Kathy/Pappy/Neleh are probably going to vote the non-original rotu off next.

Both of the pairs, Sean and Vecepia, and Pappy and Neleh would be cutting their throats if they booted off Kathy next week because then it'd be the pairs against one another and deadlocked votes.

If Sean or Vecepia gets the boot next week, then K/P/N are in the driver seat to boot the other non-rotu (unless that non-rotu eeks out immunity, then K is out).

BTW I'm sure K is so happy that all of Survivor-dom knows that she's raised a couch potato.

I have too good a memory to go with Sean, and V, actually, V would be fine with me too.

Neleh is too smug and self assured of herself for my taste, plus I kind of like the idea of someone with a family (dependents) getting the money.

So I want Kathy, V, or Paschal.

The best TV will be for Kathy to align with Sean and V, cause it would be interesting to see. There is no drama to Paschal and Neleh.

Yes she did. Tammy is the best looking one on this years show. Wish she could have stayed longer.

It might make some sense to vote kathy off, at least for Paschal/Neleh. Assuming the vote would be 2 to 2 I think Sean and V have more votes, so Pashcal & Neleh would still be safe. Just a thought.

Anyone else get the feeling that when Kathy was asking her son what to do in the game, she was putting him in a really akward, uncomfortable, and almost-downright mean situation?

I was just hoping that she wouldn't ask him to actually do some 'work' for her, like saying something to the other tribe members.
