I watched it last night drooling, wishing I had the hardware to record it. Wonderful widescreen picture. The only flaw would be the FOX logo in the corner.
I was bitching to my wife last night that I guarantee people are copying this onto hard drives & burners all over the country. Seems like it would be a piece of cake to put it on DVD since the master has apparently already been done.
So, how do I get a copy from you?

Well, actually 55% of it, which sucks. But tell the people buying p & s DVDs THAT!

Adebar, I'm guessing you've got that puppy cranking in a nice HTPC... mind hitting us with the specs for it? I've been planning out one myself, but I'd love to hear what components you used.

With a Dish Network Dishplayer 7100 or 7200, you can rip the digital stream saved off the receiver's harddrive. There's a program out there (invite only) that allows you to do this. Ripped it off FOX5 on my distant network feed. It is the pan and scan version at 544X480. There are no digital TV stations anywhere near me. I wish there were. The quality is still stunning, even though it is not widescreen and 1080i or anything. It beats the hell out of the VHS versions I bought several years ago. Encoding to DIVX5 now.
