Please work on making your thread titles somewhat descriptive of your threads. "What in the..." doesn't give anyone a clue of what they're going to be reading.

The only psychic show I know of is "Crossing Over With John Edward". However, he does regular people from his audience. Sometimes there is a celebrity reading - but not all "famous" people.

I was also going to guess "Crossing Over" aka "Scamming Rubes."

Was it on ABC? I know there's supposed to be a special with some famous people contacting dead relatives. Otherwise it was probably John Edwards.
Where's the Amazing Randy when you need him?

yeah if it was the audience type atmosphere, it was John Edward, otherwise, yes, it couldve been the show on ABC with some other psychic dude, talking to Bonnie Blakely's mother and sister. Was he using a notepad? If so, then that's what that was.

That was a guy named George Anderson, I believe. Considered one of the world's leading mediums. I guess he scribbles to distract him in order to "connect". Some of it was kinda interesting, especially wrestler Brett Hart getting in touch with his brother Owen. The "celebs" sure looked convinced.

Randi is probably waiting for this guy to try to win the $1,000,000 prize for demonstrating genuine psychic powers under controlled conditions.

More likely used to distract you from all his wrong guesses so that you only concentrate on his hits.

And celebs are the easiest to fool (with "warm readings") because they are the easiest to research beforehand.
