Thank God that John is gone. I think I would have stopped watching if the goodie goodie tribe picked off all the cool people.

The best part was John crying like a woman at the end Buhahahahahhahahaha!!!

Well, as Rob would say, he is a woman. ;)

Great episode, I would like to see Sean go to final 4 atleast.

I would like to see Nehela win the whole thing.

Yes.........badly!

That made my night seeing that gloating s.o.b. get voted off. He thought he had it all but wrapped up. The bonus was seeing him cry at the end. Check mate indeed.

I wanted Sean to get voted off, but the crying at the end was worth it.

I've half watched this season. Missed the first two or three, and had pretty much given up on it, but I tuned in last night and lazily watched... Then, in the immunity challenge, as I saw what was happening and all the people eliminated realized "This is the order... This is how it is going down" I woke up, realizing there was hope... Holy Moley, did it get good. Fantastic turn of events.

I completely surprised myself when John started to blubber- I burst out laughing so hard my sides hurt. I just love it when the smug get knocked down a notch. Cant wait to see how low the alliance hangs their heads next week.

Cap'n Cooke 04-19-02 02:14 PM

Man, you guys ate up Burnett's ****. John wasn't crying about ****ing losing, he was crying 'cause he really missed his friends and family. Watch the FULL closing comments on CBS' site. He said **** in completely different order... very interesting.

Well, since you normally don't say things like that, then I'll pretend that I don't either. If you are going to say that Neleh needs nose work, then it has to be said that Zoe needs the complete face and body job. Worse than Susan Hawk in my opinion.

Neleh is no Elisabeth or Colleen, but she has become this Survivor's cutie and she also looks to be the first "cutie" to have a serious shot at winning.

I officially dub last night's immunity challenge:

"Coconut Cut-throat" :)

Actually, since you are on the jury, you dont go home, do you? Dont you have to stick around, since you have to be at the next tribal council?

Regardless of the context, it was just nice to see him cry (not that theres anything wrong with crying), it was a nice contrast to the superior, egotist, dominant 'leader' he thought he was, finally breaking out of that smugness. Besides, we arent psychic, deep dwon he could have been crying because he was defeated, just not owning up to it. Who knows? Who Cares? I laughed anyway.

Exactly - who cares why? He is still a blubbering cry-baby.

I wanted Shawn to get the boot, but I have to say, this episode was the best one yet. FINALLY someone is getting a clue and playing the game. Up till now, I kept feeling like everyone was just following one or two people blindly, never thinking for themselves. But now it's all up in the air and better than ever!

Patman 04-19-02 11:29 PM

Well, we know the price of Paschal's word: he'll go back on his word if he thinks he's getting the boot. :)

Ozzy's Bat Head 04-20-02 03:05 AM

My wife brought up an interesting point, albeit random point, during last night's episode. Like many, we wanted John the ruler gone. I just can't stand the guy, but my wife said that he was a snake. When I pushed her on this, she said "How could John want to vote out Kathy when she was willing to pee on his wound?" I had forgot about this, but not my wife, bitter are the scorned. Can't wait to see Tammy, Underbite, and Zoe gone, should be fun.

Patman 04-20-02 07:03 AM

Did anyone else think John reminded them of Al Franken's "Stuart Smalley" character when John was giving his last comments?

Spiderbite 04-20-02 09:12 AM

I did it Momma. I made the jury (blubbering sound).

Classic! This episode has to be one of the best of all the Survivors. Goes to show that being too arrogant can backfire!

Expect mucho ass kissing next week from the other 3.

SnoopDogg 04-20-02 10:42 AM

Best turn of events to date!! :)

Jadzia 04-20-02 12:17 PM

For a minute there, I thought Tammy was going to give her alliance to John because she really didn't need it. But for her to say "I wasn't all worried about being voted off" was very arrogant.

The anti-John alliance would have had to scramble to come up with a new vote target without meeting about it.

It would have been funny if they had just voted off Tamy instead. She would have been the first & last person to give up her immunity!

So happy John's gone. I think Sean's days are numbered but they were smart to break up that alliance while they still could.

The first season missed their chance before it was too late and they were outnumbered.

Patman 04-21-02 07:52 PM

I thought this was interesting:

I re-watched the immunity challenge, and does anyone else find it strange that Robert knocked out John, and then had one final knockout, and instead of bumping off Robert back, John put Paschal out of the game. I think that's what toasted John in the eyes of Paschal/Neleh.

I'm not sure what the logic was for Robert to bump John out of the game with Neleh/Paschal were still "alive" in the challenge, Robert saw that Sean already saddled John with 2 knockdown blows earlier, John could be been sent out of the game at anytime.

icondude 04-24-02 01:57 PM

Looks like Sean is still everyone #1 pick to get booted:

Why Zoe #2 and not Kathy?

Anyone have pics or video of Gina on the Howard Stern show?
