It's you. Everything is always considered best the first time around because no one knows what to expect. The "Rob baiting and bashing the other players" storyline was easily more intense and interesting than anything that happened on Survivor 1.

She is playing this game smarter. She knew she was coming in to this new tribe outnumbered, so she is trying to fit in by flying under the radar. Rob & Sean just came in all mouthy and lazy which was NOT the smart approach.

I couldnt believe how idiotic that episode was. Rob, for all his grandstanding about "playing the game" and loving betrayal, couldnt figure out the easy strategy to get Kathy and crew on his side for the merger. Too simple- first you reel in Kathy saying shes marked (which he did effectively), follow it up by playing on the Gabe booting (which gets Paschall, Neelah, and Kathy again), and say it was all orchestrated by John. Then you just put it very simply- vote for John or he will eliminate you- that is his plan, and I'll help you because I wasnt going along with him anyway. Sure you've got all the immunity factors you cant forsee, but he was blessed with a great chance to secure himself and handled it horribly.
Kathy or Sean are the next to go. They are raising the biggest stink.
I thought for sure by the merger Paschall and Neelah would figure out John was behind the whole Gabe booting/formed an alliance, but from their voting they seem to be clueless- more evidence Rob messed up. And very certainly their downfall. The only way to win agianst an allaince is form your own or break it up, and no one seems to have the smarts to break it up. By the numbers, they are toast unless some betrayals go down

I thought this episode was by far the most entertaining we've seen in a -long- time! Although it was disappointing to see Rob go, and the series won't be quite the same without him, the new tribe's constantly changing dynamics will keep me interested. It seems to me that there might just be a -slight- possibility that N/P/K/S, all irritated with the J/T/Z/R alliance, could take down John next episode. Vee, a wild card, seems to have sided with the latter, creating a 5-4 advantage, leaving the former Maraamu members with two choices: the more obvious, try and recruit Vee to their side. This could be difficult, as it looks as though she's bonded with Tammy. The other: have N, P, K, or S win immunity, and hand it over to either Vecepia or an unsure member of the alliance to try to buy their vote. Unfortunately, evidence so far points against this theory as we've been shown vidcaps of Tammy wearing the immunity necklace.

As much as people have said that Rob was perhaps the best at "playing the game", it's kind've seemed to me, especially in this week's episode, that Rob just seemed to enjoy raising trouble and arguments amongst himself and the other tribemembers, more than he really cared about trying hard to win by actually being strategic.

Looks like 41% think Sean is the next to go at the Snickers site.
