I also hate the Blockbuster commercials, and I can't believe James Woods would lower himself to that. That is him, isn't it?

Commercials that insult my intelligence. Some examples:

Those Kia commercials that expect me to believe their car is not only cheaper but <I>better</I> than a Toyota or Honda. Um ... no. At least be somewhat honest.

Same thing with those damn_Net Zero/Juno ads. I hate AOL as much as the next guy, but their stupid little "Most ISPs like AOL charge $20 a month. But their ads neglect to tell you this. What are they trying to hide? The numbers don't lie." ads are so damn_annoying. It's like a political mudslinging ad.

I know you didn't have any hand in writing either of these things, but, man. Sad, sad, sad.

And speaking of "bad food noises", put me on the list of the Carl's, Jr. commercial-haters, too. Strange thing is, though, when one of them comes on, I can't turn away! I watch the whole thing, in amazement that there are people that actually think these disgusting ads, featuring the people slurping, smacking, and snorting their Carl's Jr. food down actually presents the company in a good light. I refuse to go to Carl's Jr., due to their commercials, and their commercials alone. I'm sure their food is fine, for fast food, anyway.

I was looking for that annoying commercial thread using Google and came across this one and this post. Kind of funny that Jason Alexander did spots for KFC and now he's doing ads for Jenny Craig... :lol: (Ok, don't know if it's funny or ironic, but I laughed).

(And in case anyone is like me and doesn't look, this is a 2002 thread)
