Does anybody know what the name of CBS's miltary show(looks like the Air Force as I see lots of them at my job daily!) What is it called? Also what base is this taking place at? Does anyone know anything about this show?

Yep, it is called AFP: American Fighter Pilot. It is about 3 guys going through the 100 days of training to be an F-15 pilot and is produced by Ridley and Tony Scott. The base is Tyndall AFB in Florida. I watched the first show and really enjoyed it, probably because I've always been interested in the Air Force, but missed Fridays episode. Here is the site for it.

It's not bad. The story of the pilots is very interesting, but the production is annoying. First, they try to capitalize on 9/11 in the opening credits, which is lame. And they have an annoying habit of echoing someone's comment in a stupid robotic voice:
"It was the roughest day of my life." [Echo]Day of my life ... my life ...[/Echo]
They do the same thing with displaying words on the screen. Still, the pilots are interesting enough to make it worth watching ... for now.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!
What the HELL!? networks!
Oh, yeah, they're going to be really warmly received then, since it will have been months since we "met the AFPs" in the first two episodes. I bet the ratings will suck even worse in the summer.

The six remaining episodes of "AFP" will likely air sometime this summer.
