Favorite Simpsons Episode of All Time
Mine would have to be "Lemon of Troy" in which some Shelbyville kids steal Springfield's lemon tree, and Bart and the gang have to go get it back.
"Homer the Great" (stonecutters episode) is another one of the best.

Interestingly, I once saw an interview with the cast members of the show, and they named this as their least favorite episode!

Some of my favorites...
A Streetcar Named Marge
Marge vs. the Monorail
Whacking Day
Homer Goes to College
Deep Space Homer
Homer the Great
King-Size Homer
You Only Move Twice
Homer's Enemy
No way I could keep the list to just one.

Don't know the official titles, but my #1 is the Mr. Pinchy episode.
My 2nd fav is the one where Lisa turns vegan...Paul & Linda McCartney guest-starred.

lisa: dad, those all come from the same animal.
homer: yeah right lisa, a magical animal.

Well, it's not a full episode, but I will count it anyway. Treehouse of Horror VII, where Kang and Kodos run for president. Every single minute of the entire episode is filled with some of the funniest one-liners ever.

Deep Space Homer - "Hail Ants."
The Be Sharps episode - "OMG, where did you get that brownie?"
The episode where Homer becomes the head of the union - "Hired goons?"
Among others. There are just so many great ones, especially in season 4 (I realize this since one of the local stations is currently in season 4 right now).

There are about 10 - 15 episodes where every single joke hits.
I mean that every joke is funny and on the mark, and I still laugh some 8 years and 20 viewings later. That really says something.
Two of these are:
as mentioned before: Deep Space Homer
and
The Trial of Freddy Quimby
The Itchy & Scratchy Movie is up there too
"you better start making sense, or we'll put you in a home."
"you already put me in a home."
"then we'll put in the crooked home we saw on 60 Minutes!"
"i'll be good."

Don't know the official title but it's the one where the whole town turns out for a soccer game, then get so bored that a "soccer riot" breaks out.
I think that's the same episode where Homer wants to buy a gun.
The guy at the gun store tells Homer it's a five day waiting period for the gun.
So Homer says..."Five days!?!, but I'm mad now!"

Without even thinking about it, one episode stands out among the rest.

Anyone know the one where Homer and Barney are training for...something...and one of the scenes has them facing off ala the scenes in the Trek episode "The Gamesters of Triskelion", with the music playing in the background too? I don't think I stopped laughing that entire episode.
