Six Feet Under - 3/17/02
The show took several different turns this episode. Especially with Claire. It will also be interesting to see what happens with David and Keith's relationship. Looks like they are being kept close through indirect problems with each of their sibling's.

personally i thought this episode was very weak compared to the rest of the series. very disappointing. the writing sucked, the characters seemed out of character, and even the acting was bad for some reason. WEIRD!

Then again, a bad episode of this show is still pretty damned good.

When will we see Nate finally get smart and ditch the bitch that is Brenda? She's getting loopy like her brother.

Yeah it wasn't the best ep, but it had it moments. Ruth's outburst at the seminar was the highlight for me.

It just seems like they're going a little too far with a few things though (namely Gabe's story).

Ditching Brenda ain't gonna happen, dude. And why? She's the best character and had the best storylines last season with the whacko brother (who we can expect to return). That comment is like the one in a previous thread where someone said that they never should have killed the father in the 1st episode - I'm like thinking there'd be no SHOW if that didn't happen. The Brenda/Nate this happens right after that in the pilot so I doubt you'll ever see her disappear (esp not after winning a Golden Globe for the role).
Spoiler:
Overall a funnier episode - but I thought the opening death in this one had very little to do with the episode's plot as others have in the past.

I just think she brings too much conflict to the relationship w/ Nate. I guess I just see alot of similarities to my previous relationship w/ an ex in there and it bugs me.

I thought maybe it was me...I had a fever last night but still watched the show and thought it was really weird and not a great effort. Guess I'm not alone in that assessment.
The whole subplot with mom going through The Plan is getting extremley annoying. Up until last night I've NEVER contemplated turning the channel at any time during ANY episode of this show, but I came damn close last night when they'd switch to the seminar scenes.

I have to say this is definitely the best show on TV right now, IMO.
I thought the scene with the other funeral directors at the diner was hilarious when BOBO was cussing up a storm and apologizing to David the looks on his face had me
.
Unfortunately, the first show I saw was Ep. 8. during the recast. At first I thought it was some movie. I missed a couple Ep's after that but try real hard to catch the show now. I LOVE IT! Really hope it gets boxed soon so I can catch all I missed.
